The glass is considered half empty ONLY when you are pouring whatever was in it, out.
The glass is considered half full ONLY when you are pouring something into the glass =D
My friend and I discussed this exact thing today. That's my way of thinking.

I disagree, you could be drinking something and say something "is still half full". Also, while filling it, you could say it "is still half empty".

Something that the people that say "the glass is full of air" don't seem to realise that to be technical, there's a lot of empty space between the air molecules.
Unless, you want to go with the other extreme that one gas particle in a otherwise complete vacuum makes it "full"
