After 10 attempts we tried rooting and ice trapping the jumpers, then the rest of the mobs were kited into the hallway and dps focused on one after another until we finally got them all down.

There was a little bit of discussion, the raid leader threw a mark on everything, one of the healers said "I could read up on how to pull this" but the RL said "Just pull it and AoE it down." We pulled the right side, a couple people died. We pulled the left side, someone ran into the boss and agroed and we still downed all the trash as we ran away and reset the boss.
Didn't seem that hard to me.

We met some tall golems in Ulduar 10man last night. The overseers or something that jump and stun, do a nasty frontal aoe and a lightningball.
First mob. "Tactic. I stand here, you stand there, yadda yadda". We died. And died. And died. and died.
Then we said "screw it, let's just zerg".
And it died. So did the next one.

We downed them first try without reading anything...they aren't that hard =/ The trash for ignis is much more difficult.

We just had our hunters kite the little technician gnomes that heal and kick for 20-30k dmg.
They kited them almost all the way down the hallway back towards flame levi and back by them time we were done with the rest. Took our raid about two 30 second wipes to realize this heh

We died a couple of times on this trash but in the end we just tanked them all, pulling them out of the shield things, but this idea of kiting the technicians sounds like something worth trying next time, the kicks hurt like hell.

Uh. We didn't die once, and we didn't root the "jumping bot".

Huh, neither did we. Just watch whats going on on the screen, and try to figure it out... our Vent on this trash:
"Oh hey, the yellow shield reduces damage, pull em out of it."
"Huh, whats with the robots jumping around? Tanks losing aggro?"
"Omen says my aggro is fine. Looks like they just charge random players."
"Kay kay."
"Does the yellow thing heal them?"
"The little guys seem to be casting something, maybe they heal."
"Huh lets see, yeah the little guys are healers, burn them first."
"Have you seen the sawblade? So cool, can it be killed?"
"Just get it off me somehow..."
No wipes, but it is fun when you do not just follow guides, but have to actually figure out whats going on. The bosses we did so far were awesome too, figuring out the right tactics is always challenging. (although we do study on the bosses a bit before each fight, so we know what to expect)

Im wondering about this as well. Some fairly serious guilds had issues with this but when we faced it last night we pretty much face-rolled it with little strategy and managed to get them down. Our first pull we lost about half the raid by the time they were all down. Second pull we marked up priority targets to be blitzed down and didnt lose a soul.
Was this hotfixed to lower difficulty? Were we lucky?

They're easier than they were before they took them out, from what I heard, but yeah... not exactly tricky.
Our guild tends to follow the "Kill the dudes with mana first, in order from smallest to largest" on basically all unknown trash, and it works wonders. It also helps that the damage shield thing they do looks IDENTICAL to both the Siege Tanks' shield they put up in FL, as well as the Turtle hunter-pet defensive ability. We didn't even worry about the random chargers -- they were small, so they were high on the priority to kill list.

I'm gonna make sure to tell my server this advice. It seems to help a ton.
