The responsibility of pricing on the AH

When using the AH, I saw a huge problem with pricing. Ppl tend lower prices dramaticly all for the sake selling out faster or tend to buy things really low and sell them unreasonably high.
For example, saronite ore before was normally 20gs per stack and most greens gems were like 2g per gem but reduced to 17-18gs and most greens gems were then like 1g because the new patches made the spawning faster. This is a reasonable drop in sales price. But then some ppl gotten ultra selfish to sell cheaper n faster as a get rich quick strat. This really hurt the miners a lot because they now have to sell the saronite ores for like 15gs per stack and gems such as Shadow Crystal for like 10 silvers. This almost caused a saronite market crash and prices were goin cheaper and cheaper and the sellers were losing money fast. If it wasn't the ppl who buy the ores for cheap and re-selling em for high prices or that titanium ores can be prospected in 3.2 we miners would have been screwed.
Also, since 3.2 Jeeves required Field Repair Bot 74A to make this epic little butler. Ths prices to increase on these bots would have been reasonable from 5gs to 20gs. But some ppl gotten really greedy and sold it for more than 100gs! All for the sake of profit!
So I plead all players to price your goods in reason and non-exploit intentions because pricings like these are unjust and hurtful to a lot of ppl.
EDIT 1: errrr i'm not anti-capitalist or am i communist, y is politics suddenly thrust in? I just want ppl to do the right thing and not harm others economically and unethically? is that so bad?

It looks like a QQ thread about economics and capitalism, hmmm.
Yes it is QQ thread.
Injustice and harm to others? welcome to capitalism.
I'm not sure whether I should laugh or cry. I decided to simply fix it for you:
Justice and freedom for everyone? Welcome to capitalism.
Others sell stuff cheap. Others buy stuff cheap. It doesn't concern you.
It's a thing between the guy who sells it and the guy who buys it. You have no right whatsoever to complain about what others do with their property, it's simply none of your business. Even if they want to give it away for free, it is their own choice and not yours. Live with it.

This.
Complaining about this is the same as complaining if one seller on eBay sells an item for less than another seller.
People try to make money/gold. If they want it faster, they sell cheaper.

I'm not going to be snarky in my response, I'm just not!
Okay, maybe a little:
What I read from your post is this: Someone undercut me on the auction house so they could get their gold faster. They have a responsibility to keep prices steady, and they broke it! Wahhh!
They're under no obligation to you, or in fact to anyone but themselves, in regards to prices on the auction house. You have no right or reason to extend this "responsibility" to anyone else.
Regardless of that fact, this isn't the way the economy works. Vendors do control the market to an extent through supply and demand, but even that control is finite. Do you honestly believe that if a company came up with a way to sell quality cars at $5,000 apiece while still maintaining overhead costs and an acceptable profit margin that they would give a crap about what other car manufacturers thought? Of course not, and neither would the buyer.
Even though I do it myself, I hate buying out low-priced auctions to re-post at a higher price because it's akin to the strong-arm tactics used by certain industries to keep newcomers out of the market. For a prime example, look up the story of Preston Tucker and how "the Big Three" auto manufacturers pressured the U.S. Securities Commission into running him out of business because they were scared of his innovations in automotive accessories and his methods of doing business.

I'm not sure how that relates here as if you're a farmer then somebody raising prices on the AH is actually a great thing for you, and reselling on the AH encourages newcomers and competition. If, for example, copper ore generally goes for 5g/stack on my server and I see somebody dumping 10 stacks for 2g, I'll snap up all that inventory and list for the normal market price. The guy dumping inventory got his money (he no doubt wanted a quick sale and got it), and I'll get my ~27.5g in profit after AH fees get their share, so I win too. If anything, I've helped ensure that miners still get a good price for their ore though that is of course not my primary intent. The only 'loser' in the situation is the buyer who must pay the price I've set rather than get that 2g/stack bargain. To that I can only say, the mining trainer is thataway.
To the OP, you're free to think as you like and I'm free to price as I like. I will be sure to consider the plight of the poor, repressed proletariat next time I'm counting my stacks of virtual gold.
