Oh and Fund did you know they made a tv show based off the Dresden Files?Very loosely based; the Pilot was almost Stormfront, and the Werewolf episode was only a little bit like the second book. The other 11 episodes were all made up out of canon...that said, the actor who played Dresden in the series, is usually who I hear in my head when I read the books and Dresden speaks...at least till I get the audiobooks and listen to Spike narrating of course.
And finished Codex Alera; really not sure why I waited so long to read the books: They were excellent, and Butcher did a great job of tying them all together, keeping the massive over all story as one main thing. Also, the Vord? An amazing zerg race and quite possibly one of the more epic versions of the Horde.

Reading Mogworld by Yahtzee Croshaw. Liking it thus-far. It's like a Fantasy
Hitchhiker's Guide
.

Pretty much anything by Mercedes Lackey or Jim Butcher. Maybe Terry Brooks; the Word and the Void series is excellent and so are some of the Shannara books. Could give the Young Wizard series a try if you want; though, that's more Science Fantasy then anything else.
And speaking of Butcher; was reading the TvTropes page for Codex Alera; apparently, he only created it out of a bet that he could use an incredibly horrible idea and make it a great story.....The idea? Lost Roman Legion and........dun dun dun:
Pokemon
Seriously though, just proves how excellent of an author he is to make something like that not only work, but create 6 great books to go with it.

I want to buy more books at the same time cause it's cheaper. I want really awesome fantasy, suggest plz?
You already have George R. R. Martin. I aslo recommend the
Codex Alera
and
Dresden Files
series by Jim Butcher and anything by Brandon Sanderson. I'm also a fan of Glen Cook's
The Black Company
, although I feel like that is not as loved by mainstream as much as the other series I recommended are. That. Is. Amazing.
You've heard how he came up with the Dresden Files right?

Speaking of Jim Butcher
...
Pretty long, but fun read.
A bit outdated, though.

No, I haven't; what was his motivation?

No, I haven't; what was his motivation?
He was arguing with his writing instructor about writing styles, methods, etc.
When I finally got tired of arguing with her and decided to write a novel as if I was some kind of formulaic, genre writing drone, just to prove to her how awful it would be, I wrote the first book of the Dresden Files.

Ah, well...again, just proves how good of a writer he actually is.....and only a month to go! And I should get it early cause I set it to ship as soon as it was available!

Just got Trudi Canavan's
Black Magician Trilogy
, seems good so far.
Also got the three first books of
Codex Alera
, which I know are good. Jim Butcher is, as everyone says around here, an excellent writer.

Been reading
The Gunslinger
by Stephen King, and tbh I can't decide whether it falls under
True Art is Incomprehensible
or if it's just really horrible, but I'm leaning towards the latter.

It get's better-ish in the other books. I don't think any part of it is supposed to make complete sense until the end, but I stalled on the 4th or 5th one.

Book one of
The Shadowdance Trilogy
(Dance of Cloaks) was pretty good. Started in on book two.

I honestly couldn't stand Dan Brown. Angels and Demons was good, but all the rest were just... ugh.

Reading Speaker for the Dead at the moment. I love how he uses the idea of the relativity of interstellar travel making any journey take 20+ years in real time. Not many authors try much with that. And I love the whole mythos and mystique surrounding the idea of a speaker for the dead.

The new Warcraft book, Thrall: Twilight of the Aspects is good...but not as good as Golden's other work, such as Lord of the Clans or Rise of the Horde.
