Typically in the few situations that I've pugged and had to leave I'll find a replacement first via the LFG channel / sending tells and then notify the party of my departure for whatever reason, and give the name of whomever it is I found.

Unless, of course, this is on one of your alts, and I sound pretty stupid right about now...
Nah, I actually do PUG on my druid; very, very infrequently. And of course I have pugged a handful of times on my alts. I also pugged with my druid every now and then on my way from 60-70 as I was on a different realm from my initial (temporarily) and didn't know anybody else to play with. Typically if I'm on my druid it's for a specific purpose, such as for reputation, to
go over SWStats logs
, or to get first-hand experience in an encounter for article-editing purposes or with boss spells, etc. Nowadays, I just go over other people's WWS logs as I get incredibly bored quite easily.
