Well seeing as the way the question was framed seemed to be made to try to insult Garrosh, I cut it off.

Garrosh<Mankrik's Wife<Basic Campfire<Varian<Thrall=Saurfang

Yeah the forsaken have gotten away with alot. Plus they gotta smell
The only race which probably don't smell badly are Taurens...But that's an entirely different matter. >_>

Ever been to Thunder Bluff in a rainy day?
Tauren developed means to harvest herbs from mulgore and make sweet, smelling shampoos.
As for the other races:
Humans - they live in a city with an open sewer system
Night Elves - thousends of years old, there breath is like a thousend rotting whale corpses.
Blood elves - same as above
Gnome - Exhaust fumes
Dwarf - Stale beer breath
Draenei - Fish mongers
Trolls - Funky mojo
Orcs - hot days in durotar and not enough shower facilities

Not to mention, it's the fricking middle ages! People fill their moats with sewage and the shower has not been invented yet.
I swear, I don't know how us humans got close enough to eachother to reproduce at that point... >.<

Necro'ing, but with good reason.
From the Blizzard Q&A on Twitter.
Q: Will there be events where ally + horde players have to work together to kill a boss?
A: Generally speaking we don't do this because we prefer that the horde and alliance feel like enemies rather than a big happy family working together to defeat a common foe. If anything, we want tension between the sides to rise.
Source.

What was your question?

I'm afraid it wasn't then.
Anyway, back on topic.
It looks like Blizzard is pushing for a full on war between the Alliance and the Horde. Any thoughts on why they might want the Alliance and the Horde players to
feel
like enemies? Any thoughts on why they might bring certain gigantic lore characters together (Malfurion and Thrall), who are supposed to be enemies, and at the same time increase tensions between the Alliance and the Horde? Any thoughts at all?

But why would they? The quote clearly says that they want the Horde and the Alliance to feel like enemies. Why would they cater to both sides of the argument if it goes against the agenda?

But why would they? The quote clearly says that they want the Horde and the Alliance to feel like enemies. Why would they cater to both sides of the argument if it goes against the agenda?I imagine they're aware that not all players want the conflict ramped up. If they cater to one group at the complete expense of the other, that's just another section of the consumer base they're !@#$ing off -- I imagine they don't want that.
An outlet for those who dislike the conflict, perhaps various questlines involving the characters you mentioned or something along those lines, could be the counterpart to the (increasingly, at least) more "mainstream" storyline of the factional conflict that's heating up.
(edit: just to be clear, the censored word up there is a -- evidently -- profane word for "urinating," and not some other swear word :P )
