Also, when choosing class roles, realize that, up until this point, every class has had at least one talent tree that can be utilized for DPS, if only for leveling. Whether you make them able to heal or tank, they must be able to DPS - otherwise, soloing is nigh-impossible.

Hey, High, on that Wartools site, how do you define the number of ranks? Or have I overlooked a help button there?

I'll look again, it's been awhile since I've made a custom tree,
I'll edit this post when I find it.
Okay, to define a talent rank, you replace the number that would change with a rank to @.
So if you want to say that crit % is modified by the rank, you would type something like this:
Increases critical strike change by @%.
Then, under the description box, there is a "Define Ranks" button. Click that and it will let you enter the numbers.
Note: I think that you must assign the talent as passive to do this, though I could be wrong.

Blizzard does have employees that read the official forums of course, and I'm sure there are many Blizzard employees that are active members of fansites as well. However, anything that you post on Wowhead is the property of you and Wowhead. If Blizzard wanted to use an idea posted on a fansite, they would have to have the permission of the site and the author of the idea.
But, Blizzard has employees that just sit and come up with ideas... so anything that we come up with, they've probably already thought up.
