Of course if you don't have a gold chocobo before you fight Ruby, you can use the Cait Sith slots method... if you actually used Cait Sith, possibly the worst character in the game. You mean you didn't like the walking plush dolls heh?

I think they missed a clishe on that list.
whenever you see a hot female ninja, there is a 70% chance that she will be a princess in disguise, and an 80% chance that said princess will fall in love with the protagonist.
also, they forgot to add that on JRPG's aparently women on bikini's are nearly undestructible.
and that the most common party of heroes is The protagonist, the protagonist's girlfriend/love interest, the protagonist's best friend/rival, a HUGE muscular dumb and good hearted dude with an equaly giant weapon but a small head, and a small person usually a child or a midget with extraordinary powers that defy logic or imagination.

There's actually another they forgot.
193. The Uselessness Rule
There will always be an NPC somwhere, who will always reply to your prodding questions, snide criticisms, and doting compliments with the phrase "...". No matter how many times you speak to the NPC in question, they will always reply with the same phrase; thus confirming the uselessness NPC.
194. The Uselessness Corollary
You will find yourself wondering what the purpose of the aforementioned useless NPC is. However, nothing you do will ever reveal the purpose of the NPC, thus making you wonder why the NPC is in the game in the first place. The answer to that question is of course, "...".
