The FFS Phenomenon

Hello everyone,
so today was probably the 1000th time I saw someone writing "defend ffs" in battleground chat. For some reason this really ticks me off, every time I read that I hear a lame guy full of nerdrage yelling it. I don't know about you guys and if you are a proponent of the FFS or not but it seems to have gotten so far that there is some kind of unwritten rule where every angry sentence in the chat must be followed by "FFS", sometimes I think people spamming it don't even know what it means and are just saying it because everyone else is.
Even then, why swear in battlegrounds, you don't help anyone, yelling someone's a retard for capping a certain graveyard (Stonehearth comes to mind) doesn't change anything. It's better to explain why one shouldn't cap it, in this case because we hit a wall of Alliance that spawn at the graveyard a few hundred yards further.
I personally have experienced where when I whispered some people this they said they didn't know and just capped it because no one ever told them why not to.
So, keep it to yourself guys, be friendly and remember; even if you are angry about something that happened in the battleground "help me defend <point> please" will be more effective than "omg defend tower point wth ffs".
I apologize for this wall of text but wanted to hear some of your reactions and hope to see some replies :) I play Horde by the way on Al'Akir EU.
Thanks

Supposedly capping Stonehearth is bad for attacking. No idea why.
Its why I do it if I find myself in AV, just to annoy the kind of people who add ffs to everything.

OMG pet peeves ffs!
I have to ignore battleground chat to get though a BG with hair left. One particular dumb thing people say isn't any worse than all the other dumb stuff people yell at each other.
Welcome to the wowhead forums by the way.

I never really use FFS in-game, but I say it all the time while driving (Oregon drivers ftl). Not the acronym, but what it stands for. I don't mind it being used- it gets the point across that you're really angry rather than typing out "Oh my goodness I am so angry right now." Of course, adding "ffs" to the end of every sentence is ridiculious.

"FML" Gets overused by everyone I know.
Or "ZOMG NOOB" In Battlegrounds. I think they use FFS because it's just quicker - and they are in a bad mood.

Hey thanks for all your interesting replies, I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one being annoyed quite a bit by this. I would like to convince everyone I see spamming to not to and actually help people but unfortunately that is not so easy. Actually doing it would probably take ages, and then there's always more people. Not that I actually want to change people, I just don't understand it. Ofcourse everyone gets angry once in a while, but it's a game guys. Game... Fun...
And ehm to be honest, I have to admit Patty132471, I don't know what FML means.

People are always gonna whine about something in BGs.
Just ignore and keep playing the way you like.

I always hope the r-tards spamming that crap in AV are non-tanks that end up in the boss room with me so I can either misdirect the boss onto them myself or have a hunter buddy do it for me if I'm not rolling on a hunter at the time. You think they nerdrage on people before, wait until after they get the boss misdirected onto them!

there is a reason i stay out of BGs, i only went in them for the holiday achievements, all the yelling was just stupid. i hate pvp anyway, now if i could leave trade up, and skip the people who chat in it all the time, although the resident trade chatter on my server i haven't seen in a while.

I never say ffs. I say "f--- me". As in "FM, why'd he go pull half the room when healer was OOM?"
Similar to "Well I'll be damned".
