probably not a good idea.
you have 3 seconds from casting corruption until the first tick.
1.5 seconds is GCD.
1.5 is haunt cast time.
...D'oh! no time left for the haunt to fly to your target.
it's really pretty simple:
buff yourself (LT)
> debuff the target ((CoE >)SB > Haunt)
> get your DoTs up (Corr > UA > CoA)
> filler spell until a higher priority spell comes up (SB (DS))
regarding CoE, if there's a destro lock in the group then let them do CoE. aff gets a lot out of CoA where destro locks get relatively little from their CoD.
also, agreeing with info above, haunt has a very low DPET compared to SB. it would absolutely be left out if it weren't for that delicious debuff.

close far? you mean if you're close then you can get haunt to land before your first corruption tick?
well, you'd need quite a bit of haste and you'd need to be very close to the boss.
so, you never want to stand close to a boss unless the particular fight has a reason for you to do that. generally, stay at max range.
the most important point, however, is that you don't gain anything by using that rotation. use the 'close' rotation and it gets you in bad habits.
there's a reason for the placement of the spells in the 'cookie-cutter' rotation and if there isn't a good reason to mess with it then you're only going to lower your dps or efficiency.

getting corruption up earlier will not increase the damage you get from it since haunt does more damage than a single tick of corruption. corruption is never recast after this point because it gets refreshed by haunt so there isn't even any benefit from a maximising uptime point of view.
there really isn't any gain from doing this but there is a potential loss. min/max or not, this is not something we should be doing.

Instead of dotting up several targets as you said in your first post, cast seed of corruption on several (4-5) targets and it's like an eruption of yellow numbers coming from the group of mobs.
You have all the talents that buff seed of corruption so you might aswell use it and seeing as your affliction rain of fire is out of the question for AoEing.
this is for the multiple mob question that everyone seems to have forgotten about
Oh and the last question. Your spellpower (and other stats) won't change seeing as you have the same gear on in both specs(assuming you do).
