Hi TheVorago! Hi Fingulfin!
I agree that it's an improvement. The only bad thing I see is the greater focus on dailies. They've never been something that interests me.
Well, Fin, grats I guess ^_^
Hiya!
I second that big time. I think dailies is a sly move from blizzard's side to keep fascination high for the more ambitious PVE content. Meaning next to dailies literally anything appears magical ^_^

Well, this happened a few weeks ago, but I wanted to share this with other fellow warlocks:
Me, Evolving. Ascending. Becoming more powerful than you could imagine.
Me in all my glory
Edit 2: Also this is my 10000th post.

So, I don't often visit the official forums, but I did today, and saw this posted about the Kil Jaden's cunning nerf.
Denial —
"surely this is a datamining error"
Anger —
"WHAT THE !@#$ BLIZZ, WARLOCK IS NOW TURRET CASTER, WE WERE ALREADY THE WEAKEST CASTER IN GAME! NOT FAIR"
Bargaining —
"This is why KJC is a fair ability, so dont nerf it"
Depression —
"this game gone down hill, I'm unsubbing, vanilla was best"
Acceptance —
Brb farming hunter looms

Wow, this thread's been quiet >.<
I miss the good old days.
Anyway, I'm back in WoW right now and just got the Lock up to 90. It's my fourth to 90 which is very unusual for me to leave it so long... or actually to level it anything but first. However, I'm here now and looking at some quite complex and diverse specs. I've done Destro initially but how on earth are people in LFR getting those massive numbers on AoE with Destro?

hmm, yeah I'd only done Direbrew when I posted that so I was really struggling to get the AoE out. Basically Destro seems to have a nice tool for dual boss fights and great tools for 7+ mob AoE packs but anything in between is awkward. Fair enough.
Does anyone have a nice way to handle Havoc? I've made a macro to set a target as my focus so that subsequent havocs go to them but even that is a little bit awkward in the heat of battle. Perhaps that's as good as it gets though?
Hate to say it but I might be sticking with the Hunter for now >.<

Yeah, that becomes clear quite quickly. It's a shame though, I always preferred Afflictions playstyle but I can't get close to the DPS of Destro with Aff despite my gear's stats leaning more towards Aff's priorities.

At lower gear levels destro should outdps aff, but aff is scaling better atm. One thing though to make aff better, get the addon affdots. It helps you react to procs and helps you know when to recast dots optimally.

I got everything pretty well laid out in weakauras, showing all trinket procs (etc.) so that's not a big issue. I've pretty much just gone to my Hunter as my current "main" but I'll keep an eye on Locks.

So, uh... How come Wowhead isn't showing the health costs of the tier 4/Lv. 60 talents for Warlocks in the tooltips or on the talents individual pages? They still have them according to icyveins and WoWdb.

I was looking for PvE guides, but couldnt find any decent one. Could you help me with that one?

Well this thread hasn't been used in too long!
I wondered if anyone fancied a trip down memory late with me.

Back in the day I used to main Warlock and make guides on Wowhead for them. This is the last one I did before moving on to other games and other classes. It's not even
that
long ago but it's cool to see how much has changed. I really liked Warlock back in Wrath. This guide is early Cata I think but still close enough to my ideal to be cool - Ah, talent trees /sigh ^_^
Well, anyway, I'm a Guardian Druid main these days and my poor lock is still stuck at 90. I just can't get enthused about them any more >.<
What are people hoping for from Legion to make their Warlocks totally awesome?
Personally I'm liking the talk about putting minions back, front and centre, for Demo. Dunno what it would take at this point to make me want to go back to Lock. Maybe I'm too far gone already >.<(##RESPBREAK##)16##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##

I remember your help, i've quit wow and come back since, but i remember you being a font of knowledge for me back in wrath. I'm finding warlocks alright at the moment, the amount of abilities we have right now is nothing compared to what we had but I do not miss farming soul shards for a second.
As far as legion is concerned I just hope they don't go lazy on the demonology overhaul and turn them into beast mastery warlocks, and i'd also like a good look at the warlock artifact and the lore behind it.

Yeah I'll be interested to see what pops up for Lock Artefacts. I don't follow lore enough to have any ideas on what they might be though tbh.
I actually hope that they do look at BM Hunter, at least a little bit. Having a main damaging ability that is inextricably linked to you having an active pet (minion in this case) is, I think, pretty important. Demo has often felt like there's my demon over there doing its thing and I'm back here shooting Shadow Bolts and I don't want that.
