Asakawa? pvp?..
Are you feeling OK?

Lately warlock pvp is more a matter of nerves, I really get pissed when there's just 2 victories to end the weekly cap and I get a freaking long streak of frost mage/rogue groups. =/

asakawa
I think everyone gets that feeling from frost mages.

Not me (at least not in 2s). If I play I play with Dpriest, and mage-rogue is pretty easy to counter. If you survive their starter the game is pretty likely won.
The thing about mage-rogue is that they can peel opponents so well that other could eat/drink (cakes, yummee). Too bad locks have DoTs ^^
Huh, noticed that there's not much besides PvP talk in here. Should we worry?

Locks are still quite terrible in 2s imo. I'd say they're best when combined with Rsham.

The way it goes I think.
Current tier PvE is dead now. PvP has seasons too but PvPers make their own content.

The thing I hate about being lock in a dps and healer 2v2, is that I just don't have enought damage to put pressure against some classes.
The other day I was fighting against a blood dk/holy priest, and it was me and a resto druid.
The match went for twenty freaking five minutes before my druid attempted to get his moonfire spell on the spellbook and forgot to heal me. I could see that lasting for a week.

Exactly. That's the case. Our peels are too limited to save a fellow DPS, that's why I'd stick with healer. But as you said, against healer teams matches take ages.

Don't worry matches have a 45minute time limit. The resulting draw counts as a loss for both teams btw...

Still, to last 45 minutes is a real pain =/
I don't really know what I could have done to try to win there, I kept dots on both the dk and priest, I kept him in combat so he wouldn't regen too much mana, but he even tried several mana burns on my druid.
True I didn't tried arena with the new felhunter from 4.1, but I don't know how much a difference he would be.

I don't lol. Although usually I do BGs against them with a stack of Living Action Potions. It's fun to break their Deep Freeze twice in a row.

I feel ya man!
Usually if the game is going on 20+ minutes you pretty much can tell if it is going to be a draw or not. Unfortunately the game isn't balanced around 2v2 anymore so basically blizzard has giving up on fixing this problem. Which I feel is a shame, but nothing to be done about it except to /dance your opponent and hope they do the same.
Which happens more then you might think :)

Yeah, thank god my DK is almost 85 so he'll be the one reaping everyone in revenge.
Still, did you guys see the blue post about the legendary? Its gonna work on dots aswell dealing 'double' damage (actually hitting twice), and there's no ICD. I expect some nerfs soon to that.
Post by
asakawa
um, why?
The potential is limited by low chance rather than ICD. It's possible that you'd get some nice burst at the start of a fight but it's also possible that you won't see a proc for minutes.
They might tweak the proc chance but it's a legendary item. it's supposed to be a bit OP.

This one time I was playing 2s with my dpriest and got feral + dpriest as opponents. The game was pretty long, neither of us (me and feral) could deal proper damage to opposing team. Then I uh, bursted somehow that feral down. We we're already like "yayy we good!". 15 seconds after that the game ends. Draw.
E: And now I read your post through (forgot that in middle of it ^^)

I feel same. I like 2s more, they're not as complicated as 3s. No need to swap focus all the time >.<

Well its good news compared that before no one knew if it would affect dots at all. And of course, RNG will always screw everyone, but that is really just chance. I like it even if its just, say, 5% chance.

asakawa
Indeed. I think it's a pretty cool little proc and I'll be doing my best to get my hands on it.

No you can not!
