In my experience, we usually have enough tanks that I don't need to tank more than 3 targets at any one time. Thus, Hammer glyph fails.

It's funny, the people saying don't use Glyph of HotR because it's useless for your threat on boss fights are the same ones using Glyph of Judgement over Glyph of AS.
10% more damage on a low-damage ability designed for a debuff and -20% attack speed over double damage on something you should be using about 1/3 as much and who's base damage is already higher than Judgement?
Honestly, I'm still doing Naxx, where there are a lot of 4-5 mob trash packs and like someone else said, it just makes the whole thing more relaxing and less of a chore to tank trash. My DPS know what they're doing, as do I, and my threat lead is monumental. The only fight that comes close is Heigan, because the ranged DPS don't have to move and I do. I understand Ulduar is very mobile, but it's mobile in the sense that everyone is moving, right? The ranged DPS don't get to stand still and creep up on your tail.
If I can tank a 25 man Naxx boss against a 5.5k DPS mage (not Thaddius or Loatheb) and have double their threat, I'm sure I'll do fine without a minor threat increase from Glyph of AS or an even smaller threat increase from Glyph of Judgement. That said, Glyph of HotR becomes the obvious choice for an efficient run.
Players who've been in and tanked Ulduar need to realize that "mandatory glyphs" for new content don't apply to older content that, god forbid, not everyone is at yet.
All that said, I would think Glyphs of SoV, AS, and DP would be the best ones to use for threat on a boss.

Expertise cap is not 6.5% when striking from the front it's 15% (60 expertise)..
thanks for the info i didn't know that!
If you can use the HotR glyph you should consider smacking your DPS across the face and tell them to shape the f up.
i can only say that in uldar there is boss fight the bring alot of adds in one point or the other our dps using aoe to burn them as much fast as u can so they can go back to the boss fight so their for hiting more mobs while my aoe is open only help me to keep the trush/adds on = helping the raid burn them faster without being affried to of geting aggro cause of their aoe.
Depending on the content you're doing glyphs can be personal preference.
this true in the end the way u r playing and the roll u r taking in the raid will deturment the glyphs u r going to us.
