In general, the add tank does take more damage than the MT. If the druid is incapable of keeping the add tank up by himself, then either the Disc Priest needs to help you, you need to switch tanks, or you need to get a third healer. (or the druid healer needs to somehow heal more).

Honestly, if you have trouble keeping the adds tank up....
I play a resto druid, and I don't have the best gear out there. I could keep up OT fine, when I healed the OT for Emalon. Your druid healer wasn't very good.

I'm resto shaman and have healed adds tank many times. If I don't need the panic riptide I try to save it so if MT healer is having troubles I throw riptide on the MT. Helping out the other healer is kind of essential to avoid a wipe. The healer shouldn't really need the help, but if something happens, heals work as a team!

Im a little puzzled. Your DISC priest showed more effective healing than your resto druid? Disc priests work by shielding and largely preventing damage and their recount obviously looks like they stood there and just admired the scenery during the fight instead of being an amazing healing class/spec. For him to have outhealed the druid would have required the druid to either have been doing next to nothing, spamming nearly 100% into overheals (which would be something new in my experience) or perhaps you've confused Disc priest with Holy?
Either way it sounds like you had the misfortune to end up in a PuG that just didnt have its healing game together. Even the best groups can have off-nights and PuGs often come with a player thats a bit clueless. Not much point in driving them into the ground or obsessing. Move along and better luck next time

In VoA, the trash is an idiotDPS - test. They need to get out of the rocks. NOW.
The run factor apply to both bosses.
To the OP
You most propably needed a druid who COULD heal. Undergeared / Half brain or less working / drunk / sleepy / bored / wife-parrent aggro can be used as an excuse.
Pick the ones invited.

This place can be easily healed by 1 healer with good gear. Hope that answers your question.
Right now I am running it with 1 tank and 1 healer.
o.O
You're so full of it it's coming out of your ears.
