Your original post, and lynlloyd's confirmation, are the only reports I've ever gotten about this issue. No one else has ever posted, emailed, or anything about this issue, so I had thought it was dealt with. Have you attempted a reinstall of IE7, perhaps?

I'm encountering a certain different bug. I'm on Internet Explorer 8, and the third tree (Survival for Hunters, for example) jumps down below the first tree. The talent tree works as normal, however, but it's rather annoying.
Edit: Running Wowhead in compatability view doesn't fix it.

This pops up quite frequently. Zoom in the page.

As well, when I right click to remove a talent point, I get the regular drop-down menu from right clicking. It makes using the talent calculator a very slow process and not worth my time. Is this actually going to get fixed anytime soon, seeing as it's been ~3 months since the initial problem?
I still got same problem, using IE8, from my Laptop, have tried to disable touchpad still same issue. Tried with touchpad same thing happens.
Left clicking add point to talent and open tooltip in new window.
Right clicking= regular drop-down menu.

This bug is difficult/impossible to reproduce. We haven't been able to get it to happen on any of our systems. What browser do you have? Have you disabled all of your browser addons?

I got IE 8.0. I tried to start IE without any browser addons, and now I dont got any issue using talent calculator.
To start browser without any browser addons:
press start menu -> all programs -> add-on -> systemtool-> IE (without addon)
Hope this is helpfull, and understandable, because I got a danish version of vista, so I dont know the exact words for each menu.
Thanks to WoWhead for a great site
*Edited* I have tried to manuel deactivating my browser addons, but cant figure out which addon is behind the issue, if any1 figure it out please be kind to send me a msg or post a reply here, thanks.
I know its hard to tell what browser addon thats behind issue, when I dont post what addons I use, but I dont feel like posting that at forum, and I have read about other ppl also got the same issue ;-)

I have now tried to uninstall my viruschecker (McAfee), because I want another 1, due to this uninstall I dont have any issues with the talent calculater. Just want to share this info to you all. Something in the McAfee causing issue, now WoW-head maybe can reproduce the issue.

Not a bug report, but, the talent calculator works on every browser I have at my disposal:
Mozilla Firefox 3.5.3 (Also tried using the IE Tab extension (1.5.20090525))
Internet Explorer 8.0.7100.0
Google Chrome 3.0.195.21
Firefox is my main browser, so it has quite a few extensions.
IE8 is whatever is installed with Windows 7 RC1 (with all applicable updates).
Google Chrome is a default installation.
I also tried the calculator on my wife's computer with no issues (she uses the same version of Internet Explorer that is listed above).
Edit: It's amazing that, even with a preview, I wait until after I post to proof read. :\
