I have a lvl 28 Hunter that is a Beastmaster. I am intending on taking this chick all the way to 70. However, in the meantime, I am doing some battlegrounds IOT get tickets and honor points for the stores. I go into the BGs and die on average 15-20 times each time. I have tried to build up my armor, agility and stamina but still die all of the time! It is very frustrating. Please help me with some tactics that would enable me to live longer.

Most of the time the best alternative for survival is to stay as far away from enemies as possible.

Your biggest problem is fighting in the 20-29 BGs. There are twinks who spend hundreds if not thousands of gold making super powerful characters for that level range. The higher level you get the easier it is as your HP can start withstanding those powerful enchants.
Also, don't forget to utilize your traps and feign death. Feign death will cause your enemy to untarget you and target your PET by default. Smart PvPers know this hunter trick and will be prepared to target you again but it will still always buy you at least a few more seconds to gain distance on the enemy or interrupt a spellcaster. One last tip...stamina is the most important stat for PvP. Surviving longer allows your teammates to kill longer (or heal you) while you are getting a beat down. Everyone is a "tank" in PvP so come with LOTS of HP.
My 70 hunter has crap greens and blues and I still have 10,300 HP and 250 DPS using the 15th best ranged weapon in the game. I do fairly well, I'm usually a nightmare to casters and have soloed a few warriors in full Season 1 arena gear.
