Well 2 years ago i started playing world of warcraft. i made a druid and leveled it to 20. then i made a hunter and also got it to 20, by then i got tired of world of warcraft, 1 year later the exact thing happened again when my friend lured me into playing, i made another account and leveled to around 20 and gave up.
Present Time: Now im DETERMINED to play WoW and go all the way to 80 starting from the beginning again (New Realm and Charectar) and i'm just wondering what would be a good character for a fresh start and a noob?
PS: im a complete noob and don't know anything about WoW i only know what you would know when your in level 20, never got that far on my first couple of accounts and i wouldn't mind playing the same classes again

Hunter is a pretty good first class. It's boring up until you get your first pet, but after that you'll start flying through the levels. The class is also deep enough that you'll have lots to learn, but isn't as technically intimidating as some other classes (please don't flame me for this), especially in groups, where you'll be filling a strict DPS roll.
Warlock isn't a class I would've recommended for someone very new to MMOs in general (and I'm only taking a guess here that this is the case). Some of the techniques take a bit to get used to (drain tanking, aggro management, multi target dot tagging, the roles for the different pets, etc).
Regardless of what you pick, have your friend use a
Scroll of Resurrection
for your account. That way, when you group together, you'll get 3 times the XP from kills and quest rewards, which makes a huge difference!

I started with a Rogue, and I don't know how I survived. I actually don't =P Now-a-days, I seriously
can't
level up... Anybody! My nearest is a 40 Hunter (Other than my DKs, which are 62 and 61 >.<) and I started him about 1 1/2 years ago. Right now I'm determined to level him, though. It's fun playing a Hunter after 3 years as a Rogue, but challenging in ways you couldn't imagine.

Choose whichever class appeals most to you. Although others have valid points, picking a class solely on ease of leveling isn't a very wise choice. Pick something that you think you will enjoy playing.

1.
Come roll with us.
Stormreaver US is the realm, it's PvP and Horde side.
2. Honestly, what is easiest is what YOU like.
First, do you like to do ranged DPS, melee DPS, heal, or be a meatshield? Once you've determined all of what you'd potentially want to do, pick a class that has those capabilities. For example, if you wanted to do ranged DPS or heal, you could roll a shaman, druid, or priest. Then, you'd research more into the classes, and learn more about each classes' playstyle, and from that, pick one. So, for example, you could roll one of each class, play it for a bit, and then decide it you like it.
What you want to do affects what you will have the most fun with. It boils down to personal preference, always has and always will.

I agree with rolling a hunter. Was my second toon, and the one I've levelled all the way to 76. It can get a little boring, but escapading around Azeroth in search for rare spawns to tame is alot of fun.
I also recommend a mage - so much fun fireballing. Especially when you get to level 50+, some decent SP and 2-shot an unsuspecting nelf druid 3 levels higher than you. I like the excitement of being squishy and having to always be aware of what's behind me.

You know, I'd suggest making a Paladin. No question, They, in my opinion, are a very versatile class to play. Healing, Tanking and DPS'ing rolled into one nice package.
