Thing is though, it's going to be extremely limited in terms of how accurate it is. It might be accurate for one realm & completely off the scale for another. I personally prefer that the data on wowhead is verifiable & reflects that situation on all realms.

The "problem" is that wowhead IS showing AH pricing derived from some source. As such, I dont think its unreasonable for that pricing information to be used to calculate the reagent cost of craft's.

I think this would be a nice addition for all tradeskills. All items already have average prices, these can just be combined when looking at a recipe. This would then give you a rough / guide value for that item.

Interesting idea. All suggestions posted are looked at by the developers and they are all considered ;)

The problem is that some low margin items get mad prices from AH scanning because of muppets placing items up for totally unreasonable prices.
Also, when certain re-agents *could* be purchased from a vendor but in limited quantity (or perhaps even not if the vendor is off the beaten track) does the algorythm use the ah or the vendor item price?

Would be nice thou the AH prices might be "fakes". But personally I like to see it so don't have to use thottbot anymore to see ~average price to enchant something, what would Tailoring cost or what will be outcome from DE likely to be.
