Hey there,
It's hard to track down bad/annoying ads due to many reasons. If you believe an ad should be removed because it doesn't fit the website or any similar reason, please read
this thread
and send a mail at feedback@wowhead.com
Thanks.

One problem I've been having lately, is that
DriveCleaner
ads have started to appear. These are extremly intrusive, since they redirect the actual wowhead page to their own site, which then attempts to install spy-/malware by tricking the user with a pop-up stating that "Such & such personal information/spyware has been found on your PC, click OK to install DriveCleaner to fix this problem".
Because it hijacks the actual page, it's impossible to find the URL the ad has been served from.

I'm usually pretty good at ignoring ads on the side, and focusing on whatever post I'm reading, but I did happen to glance to the side just now and see an ad for Viagra.
Viagra. *boggle*
While at first I thought, "Is that really going to do any good, on a site like this?" but you know it may, who am I to know the demographics of this site. But it also seems inappropriate as well. There's a credit ad next to my text entry box, something before about cancer, another thing about a university of whatever... but I think that maybe we could draw the line at male enhancement?

Seconded. Guys, these ads shouldn't be up, we're having a problem with the ad-blocking software on some of our networks. But unfortunately it's not one of the networks that are showing ads where I live, so I cannot track down and identify these ads myself, I need you guys to help me. The thread linked above contains the information I need to get these ads removed. If you want 'em taken off, I can do that--but I need your help first. :)
