Suggestion: Armor Values for NPCs

In 2.3 we will see a lot more Armor Penetration in the game as a stat. With this influx of armor pen there has been a lot of research to find out exactly how armor pen effects your damage.
While I know it would take a lot of effort and research, if somehow the estimated Armor Value for NPCs could be listed on their page I think it would be a valuable resource.
The closer you can get the enemy's armor to 0 the more effective each point of armor penetration becomes. Knowing the value of an NPC's armor will allow players to calculate how much armor pen they would like to stack after debuffs are on the mob
I know that armor is usually tested by a warrior's thunderclap or something similar, because it does a fixed amount of damage, and it's physical, so you can usually see the % of the damage lost to armor, and then can see the actual value that % would be.
Not sure how practical it is at this point, but deffintly something to look into.

no response so i'll try and simplify it.
When you look at an NPC on WoWhead you can see its approxomit health, this is very usefull to know. I think it would be also very helpfull to know an NPC's approxomit armor value.
if there would be a way to find out then list an NPC's armor in the quick facts it would be amazing.

Wow. *wonders why no one replied yet*
That's a pretty good suggestion. However, please note that the only way we can find out the exact armor value of a given NPC is through the Beast Lore ability, and because of that the information would only be available for Beast-type NPCs.

Or just create a new sticky in the site feedback where people can post their calculations and then add the 'reliable' info to NPC pages? It would be far from accurate, but still far better than nothing.
