spoiler alert!
highlord tirion fording yells
: Our march upon icecrown citadel begins now!
the lich king yells
: you now stand upon the hallowed ground of the scourge. the light wont protect you here, paladin! nothing wil protect you...
highlord tirion fording yells
: ARTHAS! i swore that i would see you dead and the scourge dismantled! im going to finish what we started at lights hope!
the lich king yells
: you could have been my greatest champion, fording: a force of darkness that would wash over this world and deliver it into a new age of strife.
the lich king yells
: but that honor is no longer yours. soon i will have a new champion.
the lichking yells
: the breaking of this one has been taxing. the atrocities i have committed upon his soul
he has resited for so long, but now he will bow down for his king soon.
highlord bolvar fordragon yells
: NEVER! I... I will never... serve... you...
the lich king yells
: in the end, you will all serve me.
high overlord saurfang says
: the paladin still lives? is it possible, highlord? could he have survived?
highlord tirion fording says
: the power of the light knows no bounds, saurfang. his soul is under great strain, but he lives - for now.
high overlord saurfang says
: then we must fave him! if you rescue bolvar fordragon, we may quell the unrest between the alliance and the horde.
high overlord saurfang says
: our mission is now clear : the lich king will answerefor his crimes and we will safe highlord bolvar fordragon!
high overlord saurfang yells
: kor'kron, prepare orgrimms hammer for his final voyage! champions, our gunship wil point on the dock on the upper reaches of the citadale.meet us there!
founded on mmo champion
bolvar fordragon? that dude his corpse was burned by dragons by the wrath gate wasnt?
so i got a few things i dont understand
1 how can he be still alive afther he was bombed by the RAS with there little green bombs, i readed that some people tought he used his
paladin bubble
.(you sie some light shining in the wrathgate movie afther he says "we done no escape for any of us")
2 Korialstrasz: Do they know?
Alexstrasza: No, my beloved.
Alexstrasza: Ashj zila gul kirasath lok ante il lok buras danashj Gul gul.
Korialstrasz: They will not.
there was a bug so players could understand draconic and she sayt "No one should know the true fate of the young paladin. Not yet"
so if she mains bolvar why the hell should we may not knew it?
and
why must we colect his shield and tell an pist off king that his best frend is death
while he is bin captured by the lich king?
and howdoes she nows it?(maybe the bronze dragonflight told it?)
and 3 even if he is now the lichkings prisoner is bolvar been raised in the undeath but the lichking failed to ger controll over him becouse his spirit was to strong? or is he still alive?
qoustion qoustions..... so somebody got an idea
srry for my bad grammar

There is a point between the dragons burning the blight and Bolvar looking skyward on the ground that we lose sight of him, wouldn't have been that hard for a few gargoyles to swoop down off the wrathgate and capture him. Blight doesn't seem to affect them like it does flesh creatures, might be the stone in their bodies.

It's a fantasy game set in a magical universe. Mystery solved.
Even fantasy and magic has rules.

Everyone knows that once we defeat The Lich King, Bolvar will come from behind the shadows and steal the armor and Frostmourne to become the new Lich King.

We'd be royally @#$%ed if that happens, so much that we wouldn't even live to see the cataclysm and Deathwing would be all "Yo, where is everybody?" and then Bolvar the Lich King would be all "Wassup, biatch!" and then Deathwing would retreat back to Deepholme.
Just saying, it wouldn't be pretty.

Sooooo you want a reason why the hell Bolvar is alive¿
here is your reason
highlord tirion fording says
: the power of the light knows no bounds, saurfang. his soul is under great strain, but he lives - for now.
He is a paladin he could bubble up and resist all the fire that those red dragons launch against him...... then bubble off.... and the lich king send some little ghouls and kipnapping him he couldn t do anything cuz he was so tired.......
there is your reason... he is a hero he is a powerfull paladin who can take an Genki dama and still live because his faith is so strong in light that makes him mega archi ultra powerfull

For crying out loud, the Naga race were once Night Elves who survived being plunged into a cataclysmic maelstrom. Should I make a separate topic asking someone to explain that too?
If you read the The War of the Ancients trilogy , you would know that Azshara strikes a deal with the Old Gods as the palace is sinking that causes all the Highborne to become naga.

There needn't be any rationalizing for something like this, every comparison people end up naming the excuse for that character surviving because of blah blah blah (Examples) Kael'thas dying in tempest keep, but coming back in the sunwell because of a fel crystal in his chest, kel'thuzad dying in the past, but being brought back in northrend because of his Phylactery being saved, or C'Thun dying but being brought back in the body of Cho'gall.
Is it so hard to imagine something similar for Bolvar, or Saurfang Jr?

explanation?
a trick of the light, a wizard did it, IT WAS THE INVENTION OF A GNOME.
those can fix everything xD

Fix'd.
Seriously, I'm almost convinced that the Naaru have had a role in saving Bolvar. Maybe because I'm working on leveling my Paladin, and questing in Icecrown, but remember Bridenbrad?
The Light does not abandon its champions
He was a Paladin, lead Stormwind in Varian's absence, who's to say the Light didn't intervene for him?

jes but i gues that adal means that they dont let them turn into mindless undeath without a fight, not to survive a sea of fire afther you have been killt by green gas
but.... the fire was from red dragons ...... the protectors/givers of life....

The Light could have stopped the Blight for all we know, never underestimate religion!
Um, as for the Fire, and going with my Light theory, together they may have been enough, because in Bridenbrad's case it was one at a time.
I do not know, but I hope Bolvar doesn't die
again
