The MP5 in the 5SR will not change or will not change in such a large amount as to shatter your play style. The concern is your loss of mana regen outside the 5SR. I'd say wait on the sp/mp5 gems as much as you can. As for SP it is always a good thing to have but don't make any shattering changes until you are comfortable with the way the mana will turn out. You've got ALOT of spirit on your gear so i think you will be more then fine to lose a bit for SP.

The only thing that is really getting nerfed are the people that can not cast spells for at least 6 seconds. It takes 5 seconds to get out of the 5 second rule and then whatever ticks after that. Usually this occurs when you are overgeared or cast long spelles (Healing touch) when you get clearcasting procs. To 90% of the people out there, all this is going to nerk is the amount of strudels you get from your mage or water when running 5 mans. No more walking with the raid and getting 1800mp5 while not casting until you get to the next group of mobs.

as others have said, no change in gearing just in the amount of drinking required. instances like CoS and VH will be a little trickier and innervate is pretty pathetic now. the LB change is the thing to worry about not the OFSR change.

Yes as has been stated many times... you wil
not
see a change in the casting while
in
combat. Only outside the 5 sec rule will it ever change.
