Anyone know what's better to get? Spell damage or Crit Spell or something else? And if possible, what gear give out the most decent amount of damage out of the mage?

Hit > Damage > Crit
Get 164 +hit with the elemental precision talent for bosses and it'll help your dps a ton. Not sure what your progression level is, but the 3-piece tailoring sets along with spellfire hood/legs are awesome for mages.

For PvP, you only nead a +3% hit.
For PvE, +16% hit.
After you get to the appropriate hit cap, go spell damage, then crit.

Swindley (EU-Frostwhisper) made a really nice guide on exactly what you're asking.

to sum it up, hit (16%) > dmg > crit. Depending on the spec this might differ a little, but for the most common raid specs like 10/48/3 this is what you want. Even with master of elements and ignite I'd still advise you to go for +dmg over +crit.
