I use Eventhorizon. Doesn't give a sound reference, but all the DoTs and cooldowns are lumped up together so at one glance I can see the status of everything.

You might be able to configure Fortewarlock to play a sound, but I don't use it's built in timers, so I've no idea.

stock answer for all these questions is: MSBT
however, letting immo drop is NOT an option. you don't need a sound you need to pay more attention to your timers.

my point is that if you're having trouble keeping up with timer bars then you're almost certainly not casting conflags and chaos bolts on cooldown. combine that with dropped DoTs and you're seriously gimping your damage.
my suggestion is that a sound isn't enough. you need to have a completely new look at how you get the information.
for example, i have my timer bars positioned directly under my character on my screen. without moving my eyes i can see exactly where my DoTs and CDs are AND make sure i'm not standing in "fires".
don't try to add more information to your already overloaded senses, just make the information you have easier to comprehend.
(also, don't double post. tut tut)

I use MSBT and DoTimer. Keeps things pretty simple and obvious. I rarely miss my cues.

well, i gave you an answer to the question. how can you add sounds to game events of your choosing? try msbt.
not sure why you're so resistant to the idea of discussing the greater topic of warlock UIs, you brought it up...
/sigh
so the problem is dotimer.
my main problem with dotimer was always something similar. now i use buttontimers which solves that problem.
ps. why would nightfall be something to react to? it was a long enough buff that you would always cast the SB as part of your rotation anyway and when you did it would be instant. it was never worth prioritising the SB over DoTs as affliction so really there was never any reaction to be made to that proc.
pps. you show aftermath? if that's on purpose then... why?

The trouble with Dotimer and any other timers I've found is that the bars don't stay in the same place. Sometimes Immolate is the top bar, sometimes number 3, sometimes in the middle. For the same reason I don't like having Dotimer keeping track of my cooldowns. With the 4 cloned buttons the numbers are always in the same place..Immolate should never appear on your Cooldown bar.
Also, the Curse of Doom cooldown and DoT are the same, so you don't need to display it on both. I keep it on the DoT timer and block it from the Cooldowns (shift+right click) as well as other unnecessary things like Soulstone, Hearthstone, Ritual of Souls, etc. etc. This results in my Cooldown Bar only displaying Chaos Bolt and Conflagorate.
This is my UI.
If you can imagine, the Conflag cooldown will be right below the Chaos Bolt cooldown (pay no attention to the strange cast sequence, this was just an old screenshot to show an example).
Furthermore, my Cooldown will always be in the order of Chaos Bolt, then Conflag below it. This is because I have DoTimer set to put the most recently cast spell on top. You can set this any way you'd like.
Finally... Good lord man. Cut out some of that clutter. You've got so much information displayed multiple times and crammed into one spot (which I think is the worst spot you could pick), its no wonder you can't find what you're looking for. I understand your logic of putting everything right in the center of the screen so you don't have to look far, but really, you don't need to be staring at that stuff all the time.
You know Chaos Bolt has a 12 second cooldown and Conflag has a 10 second cooldown, so depending on your haste, you should have some kind of idea of how many Incinerates you can throw before those cooldowns are over. This will change depending on Backdraft and Backlash, etc. etc. so when you think its getting close to the end of the cooldowns, this is when you look at the Timers. You don't need to check the Timers after each cast.

I love the way you tell me that I don't need sound, I just need to pay attention to the bars right after I tell you that I have trouble keeping attention on the bars and need sound, that's really impressive..
Anyway, seems MSBT has a sound library, so I'll see if it does what I need, thx for the hint..
sweet charming asakawa at it again, if doing these forums makes u so peturbed or angry just quit. or maybe thats why u do them because you enjoy being a rude little d-bag

This is the second thread in not very many days where someone has gotten *!@#ed at Asa for being, shall we say "abrasive."
And I have a theory. I don't know that you really like being here Asa. I mean, you know what you're talking about, so you obviously aren't here for the advice.
So I think, perhaps, maybe you don't even realize it, you feel some sort of strange obligation to be here. Which is strange, because people who make an effort to share their knowledge don't usually get perturbed so easily and aren't as condescending.
Which then leads me to believe that you maybe really are kind of a prick in real life. Sorry. I'd like to give you the benefit of the doubt. I'm just calling it like I see it.

lol, thanks for the analysis there freud.
how about everyone stops going OTT about a simple post. if you think i'm abrasive then grow up. if you think something i said is wrong then let's talk.
that's
why i'm here.

You can set dotimer to sound alarm on pretty much anything you want and have it sound 1.5sec before dot ends if thats what you need.
Look in the notification area and create one.
