I personally use SoR on trash and SoV on bosses.

I love SoV but have found that SoR is a bit better if you've got classes in your party that generate high amounts of threat *coughshamanhack*.
My reasoning behind this: SoV doesn't always proc on the first hit, meaning that the only Holy damage you may have done is Consecrate and Avenger's Shield/Holy Shock (and I've seen Chain Lightning pull half a mob from me when I'm relying only on those attacks). However, SoR is guaranteed Holy damage and thus immediate threat generation on each hit.
I'm trying to work myself into the habit of running SoR until Judgement is back, then judging SoR and switching to SoV.

I like SoV over SoR for longer boss fights. The DoT ticking away really adds up to a lot of extra threat. For Trash SoR is the way to go as SoV isn't usually going to stack to it's max and by the time it does the mob is usually almost dead anyways.
For boss fights I usually start it out with SoR then after I've judged it bring up SoV. Something like this.
cast Seal of the Crusader
Judge Crusader
cast Seal of the Righteousness
Concecrate
get a few whacks in
cast Righteous Defense - because it's been an entire 4 seconds so someone by now has already pulled aggro...
Judge Righteousness
cast Seal of Vengeance
By the time I've judged Righteousness I'm usually in the lead for threat and once SoV stacks up it becomes very easy to regain aggro even if RD is on cool down.

This is also covered in the tanking guide.

but when this particular boss you would be fighting requires you to do running around and tricks and not beign able to continuously beat on him then SoR is always better.
I've another question to add on myself; If 2x Paladins stack seal of vengeance on a mob, they will gather up in the same maximum 5 dotstack. How is the aggro divided?
If you can't keep 5 stacks on a boss mob, I seriously question your playstyle, you have 15 sec of DoT and 30 sec to renew the procs.
The vengeances stacks seperately from what I have seen... might just be me, but that's how I've seen it...
might have been changed though since I don't often play with other melee paladins.
