are there any merchants in skyrim that sells just a couple of
Dwarven Metal Ingot
how does the leveling system work for smiting.
im at level 41 in blacksmithig now.
can i still make regular iron items and still level it?
if i was to powerlevel my smithing, can i use iron ignots all the way, or do i have to progress to dwemer stuff to level it?

You don't mine dwarven metal. You find odd peices of dwarven junk laying around dwarven ruins. You take those to smelter and melt them down to ingots.

My smithing is level 60 something, and I'm still getting really good xp off of smithing leather. 3 or 4 bracers and I level. It's a cheap and easy thing to level.

So I came across 2 pretty cool random events one right after the other. First I see a fire mage and an ice mage battleing each other, at first I thought it was just a sparring match because they kept healing to full whenever their health got low, untill the fire mage blasted the ice mage with a huge spell that killed him. After killing the ice mage just for the hell of it I moved on to find a bunch of wolves chasing down a deer. After killing all the wolves with my arrows and saving the mighty beast I continued on my journy.
I am on my way to join the companions and decided to travel to the city on foot to enjoy some of teh amazing Skyrim random awesomness.

Just installed the game on my laptop the other day, really digging it. I to have come across some random things, a bodyguard escorting 2 people to a party in one of the big cities and guards escorting a prisoner to be executed heh. I just did the whole reveal my toon was a dragonborn so yeah im not too far in. Having a blast though, watched a dragon fly around and wreck 3 bandit camps heh.

Ok thus far 2 real problems I have with being a werewolf in Skyrim.
1) You cant go into first person, not sure of this is a bug or not.
2) I miss the huge flying matrix jumps from Morrowind.
EDIT:
Make that three problems, I tried to use it in combat and had to sit there and watch while I got hacked down with an axe during the friggin transformation scene.

after countless fails at trying to lead arrow shots on a flying dragon with the slow-mo perk, I said "screw it" and fired a normal shot a bit in front of it.
SHUNK
AAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWW YEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH
and the 3rd level of unrelenting force is AMAZING.

Enchanting an item using a soul gem that contains a bunny's soul has to be the most cruel thing ever. It should be an achievement.

My smithing's at 60 and I just got the perk that lets me enhance magic items. For some reason though, I can make my Blade of Woe flawless, but Mehrunes Razor and the Mace of Molag Bal only go up to superior. Anyone know why this is?
you need to raise you smithing higher, and at 100 (without potions or enchanted items) the razor only becomes flawless (highest is legendary)

Ohhh ok. I thought the improvements were universally applicable, not tied to the items themselves.
This should clear up any confusion.

i'd like to thanks skyrim for giving me the confidence to unsub from wow.
one more thing, is it possible to summon FROST ASTRONARCHS?
T___T
i jus gotta know.
im also level 30, and things seem to get weaker.
my nephew bought the game. he saved up lots of money for it. he feels dissapointed because he feels most of the content are inside dungeons fighting undead, which he is terrified at.
i guess he's a outdoor type of guy.

What do you use Dragon bones for, except armor? Should I sell them If I'm not planing on using heavy armor?

Yeah. You can really sell them all even if you do plan on using heavy armor... getting enough bones to craft a full set for yourself and a companion is a matter of like 9 dragon kills. And it is not better than the Daedric armor. The last perk in Smithing is only good for light armor guys that for some reason prefer lots of armor over stealth enhancing artifact sets.
(I will probably use a mod that makes the Dragon armor more attractive than the Daedric one when it comes out.)
