meh, who cares about achievements? I've lived well enough before them, I can live well enough without them. (My pirated version has no steam-conection and thus no achievements but meh, who cares about those?)
How you get already? =o
Isn't the bandwidth clogged as hell?

u mean the game? a friend of mine was in colombia last week, she saw the game, she knew how much I wanted it, and also rightly guessed the game would probably never reach venezuela in the first place, so she bought it for me. =) she's cool like that.
Isn't the bandwidth clogged as hell?
it is but this is a pirated version, so no steam required, no internet required either. No achievements though =/ but that's a small price to pay in order to play skyrim xD already 4 cousins and 6 co-workers have asked me to make them a copy........ I should probably charge them (since the game will never reach this country and all that) but then I'd feel like a thief...... nah, I'm not gonna make a profit out of piracy, I'll just ask them to give me a blank DVD to make the copy and that's all.

Haha I just now noticed there was a dragon shout on the wall in the Dark Brotherhood sanctuary.

What I meant was, it appears to take a long time to download the torrent in general.

There is in fact a shout that forces dragons to land.
I havnt been doing the main quest but from what I understand you learn it during a quest called Alduins Bane.

Nice job dude. Will use this often. Thanks!

I might be improving it as time goes on. It's usefulness is limited only to characters new-ish to alchemy because the alchemy menu does almost exactly this once you know recipes.
...Now I wonder where my Oblivion persuasion program went...

Do you have any plans to make it go the other direction? That is, pick an effect, here are the ingredients that do that.

I do. Just as soon as I make a table for the unique effects, which I'll probably do before tomorrow afternoon (GMT-5).

Hooray! I hope I didn't sound pushy :x I've actually basically decided to shelve this game until I get a computer than can handle it, so I don't mean to sound like I'm trying to hurry you to do work for free for my benefit, I was just curious.

That's my next feature. After that, make it look better. Then handle multiple effects. Not sure how in-depth it's going to go, but that's my plan.

they do, Last time I downloaded something by torrent (it was deus ex human revolution) took me nearly 2 weeks (ok 1 week and a half) this time it would had taken about the same time. From friday to sunday after 72 hours in a row, all I was able to download was 1200 Mb out of 5000 =/
I'd still be downloading it if it wasn't from my friend who found the game while visiting her mother in colombia :P funny how fate works don't ya think? :P

O_O brb, gonna put all the side-quests on hold, gonna get that shout.......
(Dragons aren't much of a problem for me, except the ancient ones, those are a nasty piece of work, but bless my bad luck, they tend to attack me EXCLUSIVELY when i'm at a or near a major city, causing dozens of civilian deaths. I shudder to think how many quests I've missed thanks to those damn dragons. I've killed 8 so far, 5 of them in cities)

What exactly do you consider "cities"? I thought dragons couldn't spawn in the major ones, because they are all in a sort of an interior cell which is not actually connected to the outside world. Or do you mean the tiny villages?

Rankkor, my friend's brother downloaded a torrent and it didn't work, even after installing everything the creator (of the torrent) told him to! So IDK if you are really aware of what might happen :P
well considering that the game will never arrive to my country legally, and I dont have the means to travel to another country just to buy it, all I could do was use a torrent. But again, that's a moot point, I stopped the download and deleted the torrent, because my friend was in colombia last weekend, and she saw the game there, and bought it for me. Its still a pirated version, but it works, so all is kosher with the universe =)
The torrent I was downloading may or may not have worked, I had no way to know that, but I had to at least "try" to get the game :P

I mean cities "cities".
I had one spawn in Windhelm, another in Solitude, another in Whiterun another in markarth, another in dawnstar, and another in Riverwood.
the one in Windhelm was the worst one, just as I entered it for the first time, when that dark elf was being harrassed by those 2 jerks,
RROOOOAAAAAARRRRR
and I was like "WTF? they can spawn INSIDE cities?" that dragon torched about 2 dozen NPCs (most of them civilians) before I put him down. Worst part is that I actually tried to get the fight away from the city by leaving and trying to draw the dragon to me, but the people went kamizake and left the city too, in that narrow bridge leaving Windhelm they were easy prey for a single swoop that left me with 30% HP, and every civilian dead :S
its come down to almost being afraid to fast-travel to a city, fearful that at any moment a dragon may just happen to fly over it and torch everyone in it.
its true that the inside of major capitals is considered a separate zone not connected to the outside world, but for a dragon that can fly, that aint no problem. At least the one in windhelm spawned inside the city, and as I moved outside of it, it followed me (Sadly so did the rest of the civilians) Thankfully most of the other attacks in major cities have happened when I was about to enter, meaning the dragon was still outside, and I pissed them off enough to prevent them from entering, but they still torched several NPCs on the outside.
