Should I become a Werewolf or save it for another playthrough? I'm worried it may screw up the game and my IMMERSION.

Meh, I was a vampire in oblivion, didn't broke my inmersion one iota.
Hated that my character looked like a 90 year old, so I eventually reversed it back. If being a vampire in skyrim will have a similar side-effect (Even at stage 1 you look VERY old and wrinkled) then I think I'll pass.

Turns out, Amazon decided not to process my cousins
pre-order
of Skyrim until yesterday, despite pre-ordering it 2-3 weeks ago. We didn't have enough money on our card to buy it then, so we had to wait to order it until later in the day. Now we have to wait until the 20-22nd for something that should have been here yesterday/today

and now you know how I feel like :S
and now, would SOMEONE please tell me how the marriage system works on Skyrim? are the marriageable NPCs just generic ones without personality like on "Fable 3"? Or actual fleshed out characters with a role on the story like..... say mass effect.

Sigh, I only heard of Skyrim 2 days ago.
Guess I might as well get it since half the world is cumming in their pants over it.
for very good reasons mind you.

Should I get the PC version, PS3 or Xbox360?
I heard the Xbox360 has trouble with large scale games due to lack of BluRay but don't hold me to that, just something I heard.
You should definetly get the PC version - it can be modded as if there is no tomorrow; something that will provide immense enjoyment during later playthroughs. Really, take a look at Oblivion's modding sites and you'll know what I'm talking about.

PC version worse? The only time the PC version of a game is ever worse is when the game was made for consoles and they didn't know how to properly port a game. TES games are made for PC.

Aye, PC has all the benefits and none of the disadvantages.
^Not at all biased.

Yeah but it's IGN... It's like Trade chat having a "serious" discussion/opinion.
Edit: Plus I've learned to form my own opinion on games instead of relying on a score-o-meter that's influenced by publishers. I've saved a bit more money in the longrun.
Edit edit: Not that I meant the last comment to be a shot at you, Interest. Just at ratings in general.
Yeah I know. I've learned to watch/read most of the IGN stuff, or reviews in general, with a grain of salt, but it interested me nonetheless.
My opinion on Skyrim is that the game is fantastic, but I don't wanna drop 60 bucks on it. To be quite frank it's just not my type of game.

I was thinking that would be the worst version, guess I'll get that one though :)

ta'hell? dude in almost every game imaginable, the PC version is always better. First of all because devs tend to make buggy games these days, and while yes, later they make patches to fix them, its rare for them to fix them all. Fans of the PC versions of games can make unofficial patches that do fix a lot of the crap that comes with the games.
then we get to add-ons, you know why MMORPG's will NEVER be popular in consoles? because they can't be modded, look at wow, how playable is this game without addons? No matter how sleek the UI is or how good the game is, there is ALWAYS room for improvement, and this can be done in PC games, from stuff that fixes texture clippings, to AI bugs, to a large ect.
and finally we get to Extra Content. Single-player games have a finite life, because once you've exhausted the content, the only thing you can do is either replay it (which loses its charm after several replays, for me depending on the quality of the game, about the 5ft replay is where it loses its charm) or play something else.
Now, currently, developers are in the mood of making DLCs, small content for their games taht you gotta pay for, but PC users get the best of both worlds because you can get both the official DLCs, as well as fan-made mods that add everything for the game, from extra items, extra textures, extra quests, to full blown total-conversion mods that are games on their own right.
so yes, PC games always have and always will have an edge against console games.
The sole exception is when a game is made for the console in mind, and then later ported to the PC, because PC ports tend to be shoddy (looking at you PC-version of Resident Evil 4 :S) at best, or night-unplayable at worst (Looking at you PC-version of Final Fantasy 7) But games that are designed for multi-platform from the get-go never have this problem, and The Elder Scrolls started on PC, first and foremost.

You would think wow would have taught me by now not to stand in front of or behind the dragon...
And %^&* these things are hard to kill when you fight one in an open field...

Just killed my first dragon in the open field. It was awesome :D Best thing about it? There were bandits like all around the place, and once I killed the dragon, when I approached a bandit he just yelled "I cannot best you!" and started running away from me! Best moment ever!

I had such a &*!@# of a time with mine, I kept trying to draw it close to other enemys so they would all fight but there were none around except this one ice mage inside his little house. I drew him outside but they both attacked me, I went down on fire (from the dragon) and with an Ice lance through my head (from the mage) it was pretty funny.
I finaly came up with a good strategy, shout the second he lands stay to his side and slash the #$%^ out of him, heal like a !@#$% when hes in the air and pray he dosnt hover there and spray fire at me. After a few trys I got him down to like 30% or so when my phone rang and I $%^&ed up and died trying to multitask.
After that I just ran like a b!tch and decided to come back with a fire resist potion... lol

I notice that when I get a game on PC, the bigger the game, the more chance that it will have problems. If I get a game for console, I put it in, and it ALWAYS works. A little bit of a load, and then I'm playing. With PC, I'll have to update adobe, or my NET framework, or directX, or some crap, and then I'll have to install, and probably download an update. When I play the game, some program (in Skyrim's case, it is steam) will want to be involved in the playing process. It will have ads and take up some of my internet usage.
However, I have never had a game I wasn't able to work out the 'kinks' on the PC version. After I do, the PC version of the game is always superior to the console version. I can mod the game, and have better control over the game. If the game is just 'ok', and not worth the trouble, I get it on console. If I am serious about the game, I get it on PC.
