Yeah, the people in my raid said my gear was a bit lacky, so invited another tank and passed the leader and left (so they wouldn't have unnecessary wipes), and now people ignored me for it and spammed the trade that I was a "noob and a leaver", and I'm heavily confused. I thought it was what they wanted? Anyhow, here's my armory:

You are a bit on the low side for TotgC. Few pieces that could do with replacing (shield especially). that said, it could certainly be done, you're more on the lower end of acceptable; good healers and you using cooldowns intelligently would have seen you through ok.

No, a partially guildrun.
I run ToTC 10 for the shield every week, but y' know, I'm cursed, so I'll probably never get it.

People complain about anything in the game, it was more likely that was the case. You could've stuck around for a couple of attemps and if you were getting insta-gibbed, then offered to leave. Your server has pug ToGC runs? Like Timmeh said, the 5-man shield will put off a lot of people, although it should be doable. The main drawback is your armor seems on the low side, so Impales will hit and tick pretty hard.
You may want to swap a few glyphs for ToC, since you don't really need the Cleaving glyph for tanking any fights on 10-man. Having Last Stand & Shield Wall glyphs can be very helpful for Northrend Beasts, since you will likely use both during Gormokk.

...so invited another tank and passed the leader and left (so they wouldn't have unnecessary wipes),.... and I'm heavily confused. I thought it was what they wanted? Looks like an incident of lack of communication from your side. If you left just like that without making sure that's what they meant, then yes, you are a leaver. From what you wrote in you post all that someone did in the group was to comment on your gear. You didn't write anything about them requesting that you got replaced. Communication is a wonderfull thing.

I said "So, my gear is lacky, let me find myself a replacement", which I did. Then passed on the leader to someone I thought deserved it, and apparently the group disbanded.
But I do agree, I should have told/asked them more if they really wanted to replace me or not.

Your gear is a little better than my warrior's gear and I've tanked 10 man just fine with no problems. I fail to see why they wouldn't take you.
He's talking about 10-man hard mode. That's the difference between Trial of the Crusader (=normal) and Trial of the Grand Crusader (=hard mode). I'd say the OP has barely enough gear for normal, and should definitely steer clear of hard mode.

You're saying, almost full T9, won't even be enough for ToTC 10 Normal? How am I supposed to get geared then?
Even though I tanked it today with two healers (one being a paladin and a priest), I'm undergeared for ToTC 10 doesn't even make sense to me.

You have several ilevel 200 items, and use suboptimal gems. I didn't say it isn't good enough for normal 10-man, but just that it's only barely good enough. In my opinion it's definitely not good enough for hard modes, even more so in a pug (where you would expect to need some extra gear to compensate for lack of cooperation or skill).

Just sayin', but there's ONE upgrade in my ranged weapon slot, which is
Veranus' Bane
, which drops from Ulduar 25, from Razorscale. Not so easy to pug on my realm if you ask me.
Thanks for the advice on the ring tho :D

A couple spots I see for some immediate improvement.
If you switch the gem in your helm to 10Def/15Stamina, and then put a 10Def/15Stamina in your chest, you would gain 9 Stamina without losing anything.
You can enchant your shield with 18 stamina, giving up 20 defense (and you'll still be uncrittable). For me personally, 10 Dodge or 10 Defense traded for 9 Stamina is about the break even point for me, so this shield enchant could go either way. For you, I think the extra stamina would do you good.
Putting a 10Dodge/15 Stamina gem in your legs will give you +10 Dodge and -6 Stamina, which is a good tradeoff. Alternatively you could do 10 Expertise/15 Stamina in your legs, since you are under the expertise softcap of 26.

i have to agree with this. yes, you can get through normal with good healers, but you should not be tanking heroic yet. 24.6k armor/36k hp is quite low for that type of raid.

Thank you very much!
Good thing I had those Eye of zuls' laying around
