Should NON 80's be barred from WG?

I started doing WG on my shaman at 77, I could heal the idiots fighting in front of the main gate, I could take a turret of a unprotected wall and warn incoming siege so the defense would actually know where to go, and when attacking I would change to elemental and take out the turrets and tell the tanks to destroy the walls there.
What I am trying to say is that your level doens't matter as long as you are not in the main gate, feeding the enemy team, and if you can't pilot the sieges yet you can always be the gunner on one of them.
Half the people on WG go there but stay in the damm main gate thinking they are helping, mostly 80's so if you are a lower level doing something you are better than that, I was able to buy the belt, the boots and one of the trinkets as soon as I hit 80, but having fun is the most important part of it.

I find Billa's comment very interesting, and actually had never thought of it that way, but to my mind, he is spot on.
If you are paying the money to play the game, and the mechanics do not physically prevent you being somewhere (and I have seen level 55 DK's a plenty in WG, not sure how they got in, but there must be a way, tonyy1? ), then they have every right to utilise that segment of the game, any way they wish, as long as they are keeping within the T's & C's of use (hacking Saronite farmers beware, I WILL find and report you, repeatedly, until you are banned, and you won't be the first).
The notion that non 80's should not enter WG is purely a selfish, player created one, born of fear, of losing (and why? There will be another match in 150 minutes), and peer pressure, to conform to an elitist "club" with a set of elitist opinions. And how misguided can they possibly be? To kick the two, maybe three, lower level players, under the excuse of the Tenacity buff? Do you actually think two or three players makes that massive a swing in the balance of forces that the Tenacity buff will suddenly be overwhelming? I think not. I put my hands up, and admit, I cannot state figures, but I wouldn't imagine it's one player per level of Tenacity, or anything even close to that.
Finally, look at it from this perspective. If YOUR side, whatever that may be, is worried that that rogue low level is going to screw you via Tenacity, do you not think the OTHER side is dealing with the exact same thing? I know for a fact, that as an Alliance player, every single day, I see multiple level 70 - 76 Horde players in WG, and they obviously, by proxy, see me, so surely, the whole thing is completely moot, as the low levels insisting on playing on each side cancel each other out?
Just think about it, the next time YOU are tempted to shout "WTF IS THIS ASSBAG 70 DOING IN MY MUDDERFUNKING RAAAAAAAID!", and then kick, and publicly berate them. That's one less man on your side, and probably one more mans advantage on the other, even if it IS just a lowly level 70 - 79. Who will charge you, stun you, disarm you, Int Shout you, and generally be a nuisance, while the level 80's around him tear you a new ^&*!@#$.
*edit* Respect to Kainith's comment above ^^

You can go into bg and just run around/jump, not doing any pvp at all, does that means it is ok and people thinking otherwise are elitist? You can go dps to Naxx in pvp gear/spec, doing less than 1k dps and rolling on healer (Warlocks with mp5 anyone) gear, and you have all rights to do so. You can park your big Tauren ass on your big assed mammoth onto a vital NPC, it is doable, isn't it? Just don't be suprised if you get kicked, ignored and /spit upon if you do.

Yes they should, lowbie lvl 70's thinking they can come and steal my titanium nodes and stuff or they should at least let you be able to kill your own faction when wg is not going in wg. Make them earn that titanium node i say risk there life for trying to get a free farm in wg.
I think this is kind of irrelevant to be honest. The 19 hours of the day that aren't taken up with actual battles in WG have nothing to do with anything, and it's up to the individual player whether they want to risk such a dangerous area, outwith their level, for material gathering.
This is like saying "Ban people under level 40 from The Badlands because I'm farming Mithril there and they are stealing it" or "People under level 50 shouldn't be allowed in The Burning Steppes because they're making it harder for me to get Thorium."
Resources are there to be taken by whoever can get to them and claim them, as long as they are sticking to the T's & C's.
