Should NON 80's be barred from WG?

Obviously, Wintergrasp is a world zone, and as such, is effectively free to enter to anyone who can get there. However, when the control battle kicks off, the general consensus, at least where I play, is that if you aren't level 80, with full epics, you're lower than pond scum, should GTFO, and die under a rock.
So what are peoples thoughts on this nasty little phenomenon? Should WG be "locked" to anyone who isn't 80 during the battle, or do non 80's have A) Just as much right to be there as an 80, and B) Can actually contribute something in their own way?
What do you think? Have you been abused for your less than maxed out gear and level? If so, would it make you more or less likely to perpetuate that sort of behavior when you join the hallowed ranks of the god like 80's?
Or do you fanatically hunt down that sneaky little 79 that got into your 40 man group and abuse and humiliate them publicly? If so, why?

Just to clarify things, I'm not a level 80, and have indeed never abused someone for daring to think they can enter WG without being a god, like all 80's
obviously
are....

You stated if you aren't lvl 80 with full epics then you are lower than pond scum. Then you go and say you I am not a lvl 80. You are calling yourself pond scum and if you arent lvl 80 WTF are you worried about WG. I think what your problem is you entered WG one time and got the !@#$ beat out of you.
Uh...I "stated" you say? Actually, I said:
...the general consensus, at least where I play, is that if you aren't level 80...
Allow me to explain that since you obviously can't understand the intricacies of the English language. What I am
actually
saying is
that as a NON
level 80, it has been MY experience that
some
80's treat anyone who isn't 80 like scum if they try to enter WG.
And the greater purpose of the thread is to determine, preferably without nerdrage and trolling, whether people think this is a-okay, or a bit not on.
So, please, before you mouth off, try to read, and understand, the original post?
As for my problem that you identified, allow me to correct you there. I have played 28 WG battles, as NOT BEING level 80, have won 22, have destroyed Workshops and Towers MYSELF, have earned First Lieutenant MYSELF, have piloted all the vehicles and played an effective part in the capture of the fortress, and made some 30,000 Honor and 70 odd Marks from doing all these things. And that is why WG is my concern - because I am ALLOWED to be there, because there are Achievements, Honor, and Marks to be earned, and gear to save up for in preparation for level 80.
Now, can any slightly more intelligent and perceptive people take part in a reasonable debate?
I'll simplify it yet again.
Should non level 80's be allowed in Wintergrasp?
or
Should they not be allowed in Wintergrasp?
Please provide your thoughts and reasons.

It Isn't advisable to enter wintergrasp under level 80. At that point you cannot do the dailies for full honor and will likely be kicked from raid groups in favor of level 80s who gain greater benefit. There is also that 'side effect' of getting horribly killed everytime you look at an enemy level 80 character, thereby feeding rank.
Also, correct me if I am wrong but I believe with the vehicle scaling changes lower level players can no longer pilot them with the same degree of effectiveness then higher level and better geared players.
Point being: Nobody should mind if you go to Wintergrasp at a lower level, but it is certainly not welcomed or of benefit to anyone who wants to win the battle.

Surely though, the Honor gained from HK's due to level difference makes up for this, and justifies trying? I entered WG early one morning, on a fresh day for PvP tracking. It was a quiet fight, about 20 each side, and part way through, I opened the PvP window to find I had made 760 Honor from 10 HK's.
It seemed to slow down after that, but I then got another 1200 or so for the win, and the three Marks. I also personally destroyed the Shadowsight Tower, with no assistance (unmolested by enemies admittedly), but you could say I played my part and benefited the team surely?
Also, as for the supposed changes to the vehicle effectiveness, as a level 70, the Siege Tank Ram still does 1000 Siege Damage for me, and the tank still has 85k HP, and a Plague Barrel does 690 - 750 Siege Damage, so I've failed to see any difference since the patch. Unless as a level 80, you guys are doing drastically more than this, then where is the issue?
I'm sorry but you're miss reading everything here.
1-He wasn't a jerk, he just pointed out what he really meant, being just as "rude" as you were.
2-The purpose of the thread is to give a good debate to Wowhead's PvP community (thats actually what this user has done in the last 4-5 thread, I believe). Not to pick on those who agree with either A or B.
Thank you very much for your kind words :)

A non 80 can still outperform most ppl in WG since 50% of them dont have a brain. Yes he can actually ride a demolished and rack up more kills and damage than a lvl 80 prick standing at the wall chasing off a rogue to nowhere.

Weren't there plan to change vehicles hp/damage depending on your average gear level? Anyway, this should be closed area for anyone lower than 78 (as 78 is level when you can do quests there). I've seen level 1 people there, I just hope Tenacity doesn't count them as full players...

Ideally, people won't have a lot of incentive to try and do WG until they are level 80 and get the full benefit from it, but of course they have the right to. Nobody can physically stop you from entering Wintergrasp and pvping, though someone will probably complain about it. Especially if you're on the lower end of lvl 70; a level 77-78 is a lot more likely to make a meaningful difference to the fight than a lvl 76 or lower. But when it gets down to the wire, bodies are bodies, and any help is useful.

As long as people pay to play themselves ... well you do the math.

The problem with "as long as they have fun" is that everybody else pay for them via Tenacity, they usually do this to leech honor, and if they are 75 or lower they either die in melee like flies or get every spel missed (including cc) if they are casters.
And just because people are paying for it doesn't matter at all, going this way means that people can legally stay afk/jump in bgs (that is if this is what you were trying to say, if it's about "It's ok as long they are usefull" then I agree with you.
Btw. I like your sig Billa :).
