A shadow priest needs good resilience in arenas almost as much as holy priests do, so I'd recommend picking up some PvP gear.

I have 2/2 bc/ 3/3 fsw (looks cool, eh?) and plan to do arena with it.
There's definitely room for improvement in your gear. I'd stick with your fsw/bc helm for now and work on other pieces. Your bracers are good for PVE but terrible for PVP w/o stamina or resil. Grind BGs for the s3 pvp bracers, they're excellent. I'd also grind for season3 boots and a season 1 weapon. The fsw boots are definitely the weak link for PVP, the stamina is terrible, especially from a slot that typically provides a lot of stamina. Put a +150 health chant on your chestpiece, it's not expensive and mostly equivalent to a +15 stamina chant.
Next, replace your amulet grab, the one from the BEM quest -
Natasha's Arcane Filament
, can do it in a couple hours with a friend or alone. The one you have is more appropriate for a 63rd level mage.
Look for gear with stamina/+dmg, you're too focused on +crit which isn't that great for shadow priests since we only have 2 spells that crit, both on cooldown.
Drop 2 points in healing focus and 4 points from shadow focus if you're not doing PVE (if you are, you should grab 3/3 Shadow Affinity). Put those 6 points in the discipline tree, good pvp talents there.

That's probably your problem right there. Frozen shadoweave is unfortunately the exact opposite of its effectiveness in pve. It offers nearly NO stats, let alone anything to help you survive in pvp. The spell damage it offers in pve is absolutely amazing, but if you die within seconds to a rogue and warrior attacking you, it hasn't done its job.
The best route to go is getting as much of the season 1 gladiator gear as possible, since it's available for honor now.
Also, about what you said about non-shadow damage dealing in arenas... As much as I hate cookie cutters and such, they're the only way to succeed in arenas. You're either 28/33 holy, 51/10 holy, or shadow.

FSW-BC
Yeah not great for arena but beats the heck outta blues/greens and it has some stamina and gem slots - will get me through the lower ranks. I have around 10K health with fort and ~115 resil atm.
If you want to see anti-pvp gear, see the Spellfire/Spellstrike Set :)
Upgrades
I did a spreadsheet to help me prioritize my upgrades from honor/badges.
I devised a weighting system based on hunches based on PVP posts around the web.
Points:
Non-Meta gem Socket:
12
(based on a +12 stam gem)
Meta gem Socket:
18
Resil:
1.2
Penetration:
1
Stamina:
1
+Dmg:
.8
Int:
.2
Hit/Crit/Haste/Spirit:
0
This is my order of upgrades:
Battlecast Helm -> Gladiator's Satin Hood (+66.6)
The Horseman's Signet Ring -> Vindicator's Band of Dominance (+50.4)
Natasha's Arcane Filament -> Vindicator's Pendant of Dominance (+49.4)
Frozen Shadoweave Boots -> Vindicator's Dreadweave Stalkers (+39.4)
The Horseman's Signet Ring (used for ref) ->Veteran's Band of Dominance (+38.6)
Frozen Shadoweave Vest -> Gladiator's Satin Robe (+35.8)
Battlecast Pants -> Gladiator's Satin Leggings (+33)
Frozen Shadoweave Shoulders ->Gladiator's Satin Mantle (+26)
I already have the S1 gloves. Once you have 1 pc of S1, make sure you pick up a 2nd for the set bonus.
