Vampiric Touch
had its damage on dispell doubled. (From 680 to 1360 at Max Rank)
Devouring Plague
can now affect only one target at a time.
Dispersion
now has a 2 min cooldown. (Down from 3 min)
Improved Mind Blast
has an additional effect - while in Shadowform your Mind Blast also has a 20/40/60/80/100% chance to reduce all healing done to the target by 20% for 10 sec.
While the change to DP does not explicitly say this, I think it's safe to assume that the CD has been removed. Anyone on the PTR can confirm?

I will assume it is. There was a blue post awhile back where someone suggested that change and they seemed open to it.

I think it was spreadable by a DK's Pestilence.

Devouring Plague used to be spreadable via a DK's Pestilence, but that was a
completely awesomesauce weapon of mass destruction >:D
bug that they fixed in 3.1.
The blue post in question is
here
. The entire point of the cooldown was so that we didn't spread it to multiple targets Basically, this is a
slight
buff, because if a mob dies or something, we can move on and apply it to the next mob right away without having to wait for the next cooldown to finish. Not much, but this could make it more useful.

How long is DPs cooldown?
Haven't played since april D: and wowhead still is/was under maintinence(sp?).
24 seconds, the length of its duration.
Also, yay for a PvP buff for shadow priests. It's not much, but it gives shadow priests some hope.

Oh wow, suddenly I am totally excited for these changes now. The DP change should see our overall DPS increase on fights like Emalon (the cooldown was removed, from what I readon
www.wow.com
a little while ago). Improved Mind Blast almost makes me want to do other PvP as Shadow besides Wintergrasp again now. :D And the cooldown on Dispersion is so full of YaY I cannot contain myself.

Wheres the disco love? 2 seconds longer on Penance CD makes me cry. If all they did was get rid of our glyph, I'd see that as a welcomed compromise.

I'm kinda sad of the way blizzard is buffing us. I know those are buffs, but not what I imagine. THEY ARE MAKING EVERY CLASS HAVE EVERYTHING. This is the beggining of the PvP downfall that lead to Wrath ridiculous pvp system. Now they are sinking even deeper. Mortal Strike is not for priests! Unstable Affliction is not the way either! We need more survival, they are just making us offensive.
Dispersion on a few minutes cooldown is pretty meh for a common pvp situation: Against combo users, dispertion gives them enough time to set combo points fully on you; DoT classes can fully DoT you up. It is a good move, but lowering its cooldown is not what we need. Make it a 6s immunity decently, I'll be so much happier. Altough, once again - That is a Mage's Ice Block...
A Buff, yes. The way it should be done? No.
