~10 Targets + New Vampiric Embrace + Mind Sear = Hmm... perhaps it's time to pick up a few points in
Shadow Affinity
.

Well, one major setback to our 10 target damage limit is that if I decided I wanted to run a friend through a low level instance it's going to take that much longer for all of them to die... like a LOT longer... :-( looks like SWP and DP will really be doing the job

Shadowform's less mana cost is also very nice on PvP environments. It was, and is, extraordinarily high of a risk to leave SForm on pvp... And to get back it is equally hard. This definately helps.
And isn't Devouring Plague now a pseudo instant heal? Oh hell yeah. Long ago people spoke about an out-of-GCD VE... There ya go. Enjoy, with even less (no) macros!
I still feel one of our biggest flaws, dispels, is there to haunt us, but things are looking up.
About PvE... I'd say, by Val's numbers, that we definately got one very nice set of buffs.

I have
three
freaking
buffs
to put up in that small window when I rez in a BG, and I can't slip SF in there.

Four
or
five
by my count,
six
if you include the form. Just make sure you get your most expensive out of the way during the spirit heal buff and save the cheaper ones for afterwards. In order would be:
SF
32% base mana
SP
31% base mana
PW:F
27% base mana
DS
26% base mana
IF
14% base mana
FW
3% base mana
The first three will easily fit inside the buff, the fourth is cut pretty close and I'm not sure it is actually possible.

yeah I saw that comin'. lol. Even still, our AoE being limited would seriously put a hamper on the healing output anyhow. The priest asking the question in the post thinks that SPriests would become the best AOE Healers in the game somehow? Not even close with these changes. And I'm not quite certain where he gets 1000 healing per player? He clearly didn't read about the AoE limitations...
