So, I have a Druid and a DK I am looking to PvP/Raid on, Horde side.
My question is, does a server exist where the population is not horridly imbalanced (Cho'Lawl and Mal'Ganis), the BG isn't hard to break into for arena (Blackrock/Bloodlust), and the economy doesn't have inflated prices (my current, Turalyon)?
I've been bouncing between Arenajunkies, Wowprogress, WoWwiki, and the WoW forums to try and find a server that fits some/all of these descriptions and have come up lacking.
Tell me about your experiences on your server, what you like/dislike, if it's imbalanced and how that affects gameplay, etc. :)

On my server
Kalecgos
the horde and alliance ratio is about even i believe. its a pvp server, and like all other pvp servers if you plan to level an alt the usual areas are still what i call "gankfest". The economy is what i assume to be pretty stable excluding the leather twink gear for rogues and hunters. The population is low so don't expect your computer to crash in Wintergrasp or to lag in dal. Arenas, i can't really speak for since im still lvling my toon on this server. Compared to my old sever of Greymane i would say its a bit more casual. This is all from a Horde player perspective.
hope this helped.

I'm not so much worried about BGs as I am being able to find arena partners as well as see all post-game Northrend content. I'm going to try and get in with a semi-core guild, one that raids 2-3 times a week but hardcore for those times. From what I've seen, a large population usually needs to be in place for these kinds of guilds to pop up, as well as the arena partners.
Can anyone who arena's give advice on where/how they got into arena on their servers, and whether they have been able to raid as well?

I both raid and do some casual arena. It's pretty ez to get into a PvE guild. Gear up with TotCh. Do dailies dungeos and then sneak into a Tocr pug. WTFpwn through it and then find the next semi-guild that advertises itself in trade

Bladefist- The Whirlwind battlegroup crashes so often that you won't notice any of the things you listed as problems.
Joking, of course.
