Ok, my server has been bugged to hell so I have only been able to do a failed Ulduar and a failed Naxx attempt in which cases the server crashed before I could do anything. Who has tanked a bit? I just want to know what people actually think about trading armor for a block mechanic.
On the PTR, I prefered this on heroics, I took considerably less damage, however I have not had any chance to try it on the actual realm yet, and I havnt tried it on anything that hits hard.

I found out that my bear survivability is smaller and my healers have an harder time to heal me.

yea blizz fooled us, ulduar is not harder, we are just weaker... :/ :D
So well resumed lol.
Bear form got tons of nerf to their survivability in both PvE and PvP.

Have done most of ulduar 25 and haven't noticed much difference in survivability against physical damage. Magical / Elemental damage I have, purely because I lost about 4k health. Those are the fights we have a DK for.
Noticed about a 1500 increase in dps on encounters were I hit my dual spec button.
Sick of everyone saying the sky is falling.

Just, the exchange between Armor and Savage Defense, makes you have to be more active.
I mean, with a huge threat pool between you and your DPS/heal, you couldn't go AFK(lazy), for a while, auto-attacking because your Mitigation will be lowered drastically . (ex: Holding the Beetle Guardians of Kelthu.)
Now it takes time to the theorycrafters to tell us what it's worth on enchants, or gems.

not sure about this, but from what i have tested it seems that swipe radius is bigger than it used to be... about 8 yards now...
I still dont notice the difference. I had no probleme putting all the mobs in front of me in swipe range. I was just that good.

its still important (and easy) to keep them in front of you so i havnt let them go behind me anyway\
i did another heroic and could not tell a differnce on a boss
on trash it was better, as if i had a block proc on nearly half my hits

With regards to Thunderswipe, once I remembered we had it, I started using it to my advantage. For example:
Given mobs represented by
X
s, in the past I might've positioned myself at the
D
with my swipe cone facing (generally) in the direction indicated. The rest of the raid is behind me and most of the healers are behind me. I will hit the bold
X
s, but the two stragglers on the left will probably not get hit immediately. I'd be relying on them walking towards me.

Now, I can literally stand at
D
and swipe. I will hit ALL of them and I don't have to rely on mob movement to bring them into range. I can gain control over larger groups faster. Once I've tagged them once, I can move so that they are in front of me again.

It's not really a question of, "Oh, I was already good enough with the cone swipe," as much as it has opened up new flexibility and
capability
in terms of picking up groups of mobs.

I love the AoE swipe. It is awesome in Wintergrasp when they ar trying to destroy the walls.
