I did read what you posted. You posted Assassination talents, ONLY ONE of which affects kidney shot directly. Those other talents apply to eviscerate, ambush etc, so those too get the bonuses. Kidney shot doesn't do damage, so the "Master of Subtelty" doesn't affect it at all, and the energy regeneration applies to racking up combo points, not increasing the imaginary damage of KS. So, you can either get a 6k+ Eviscerate crit (or envenom), or you can use up those 5 points in a stun that doesn't do damage. If you're lucky and DR hasn't taken much affect, you can get a mutiliate in there to benefit the damage bonus, otherwise, the bonus will only be from poisons and white hits.
Apperantly you still havn't read what i posted.
I never said those talents affected KS. No one did, once again with you reading everything.
We were discussing wether rogues lose alot of damage when stunlocking i showed you 3 talents that are used about 3 times as much when stun locking compared to just binding all your keys to SS and rolling your face across the keyboard.
If you're stun locking you'll restealth
all the time to get as many stuns as possible and as little damage to you as possible done. Thus both overkill and master of sub gets activated ALOT.
So very nice of you to point out that the damage increasing talents i posted also applies to other skills.
Oh but wait you dont use KS if you're not stun locking thus that talent is null. And if you're not stunlocking you'll have WAY less oppurtunities to restealth and activiate overkill/master of sub again. So i guess they dont really help if you're not stunlocking. damn it why did i bring them up.
I'm not sure if you're aware of this since you apperantly think energy == CP and not that energy is used to use skills such as mutilate, backstab or the like. But higher energy regeneration means you'll do more damage and if you're able to keep that buff up constantly by restealthing (which you do more when stun locking than when you dont) you'll boost your damage output by alot.
I'd like to see you do a 6k evisc crit on a plate wearer in PvP.
Let's just break it down for you:
That's the top end damage of eviscerate.
An average person will have around 700-800 resilience with PvP gear. And a plate DPS has about 14k armor.
So that's 20% less damage from your crits(assuming 750 resilience). And a 45% mitigation from armor (roughly).
So basically you get this:
(2231 + AP * 0,35)*2*0,8*0,55
This means that the top damage of a evisc crit is lower than what the tooltip displays as top normal damage.
In order to get a 6k evisc crit we would need 10768 attack power.
Now this is untalented ofcourse but if we were to increase eviscerate damage as much as possible.
We'll see what happens (with
this most awesome tri-spec for awesome eviscerate damage).
(2231 + AP * 0,35)*1,2*1,09*1,09*1,1*2*0,8*0,55
Sweet with this most awesomeness tri specc i just made up we'll only need 6047 AP to do a 6k crit with eviscerate.
And remember this is still if you score a perfect top-end damage hit. For the average hit to be 6k you'd need 6410 AP.
Well i guess i failed here as well.. Might as well just take my stuff and go home.
Oh yea.. You've missed some very vital points in your whole argument. Rogues are squishy, and when a person is stunned they dont do damage.
On plate, typically, rupture is used because it ignores armor and you can re-stealth while it ticks away, bringing Master of Sub" buff you again, then re-open with a garrote or cheap shot, and then finish up with an eviscerate, maybe accompanied with a cold blood. Burst is really important, and when you use stuns, you LOSE YOUR BURST DAMAGE!
Yes you use rupture because it ignores armor. How are you going to restealth if you have a warrior spamstringing you or a paladin running faster than you pimping your ass with his HoJ?
Burst is only important dependant on the situation. If you dont know this i suggest you take your 4000 honorable kills and go boast somewhere else. If the person you are killing cant do anything it doesn't matter if you do 20k damage in 2 seconds or in 6 seconds (assuming they cant do anything for 6 seconds).
Did you also know that cheap shot doesn't do damage? OMG! Oh noes!
Once again i have to stop to think. 'Does he know that when a person is stunned they cant do squat but stand there and take it?'
PMSing? No, when you posted the fact that you needed 200k (btw, it was bad enough at 20k, now you're saying you still suck after 200k) kills to prove your lack of PvP and class knowledge, I couldn't resist. Keep posting, you're proving it more and more each time.
I never mentioned 20k kills. Seriously dude do you have a reading disability? Cause if you do i sinserely apologise and will definately stop posting in this thread.
Lol yea i do suck at PvP i used a bot to get my 200k kills. Once again are you capable of comprehending the english language?
Should we get a translator?

if you need 20,000 kills under your belt and still can't beat a rogue, and I have 4,000 kills ON MY PALLY, and CAN beat rogues, then I am not the one with the learning disability.
Bottom line is, when a rogue kidney shots, he loses his combo points. Kidney shot = less damage. Yes, there is a talent that increases damage while a target is under the affects of kidney shot, but it's to make up for the extreme lack of dps from using up all those CPs.
Again, check the rogue forums. You CAN read the rogue forums, you know? They talk about pallies beating them all the time.
Umm excuse me sgtpain has your Epeen finished its erection yet, i guess you haven't thought too much about things have you. This is a game of small numbers adding up to make big numbers. What you are suggesting is that 6 secs to go free for all on someone is less damage then any other of their finishing moves. Then i say we throw some math out there.
Lets assume by your HK amount that you are talking about a typical BG so assume 400 resil. Against a plate wearer with 400 resil i think it would be reasonable to assume around 1600 constant dps on the average bg rogue (if anything thats an understatement). Now here is where i need someone to give me a number here
eviscerate hits for roughly '
X'.
Therefore for any of your bull@#$% to be correct then (1600*6) <
XX > 9600
So given my very rough math i now leave you the challenge find me a finishing move on the average bg rogue that hits for greater then 9600 on a plate wearer with 400 resil and then you MIGHT have an arguement.
Until then
go back to your corner.
