We'll just database the !@#$ out of it, though you should have a general idea in what you want to include (are we talking about pve aswell?).
Do you want to include healer dispelling? Prolly yes, but will we talk about certain talents and game mechanics?
Looked at your current posted one and its pretty good, but the lay-out will have to be reworked completely to be able contain all dispels.
Dude, we would probably die if we get the PvE stuff there too xD. I say that if ever do that, we do it in another guide; my guess is it will look too messy.
I was thinking of making a table of contents so you can skip textwalls at will to get to the place you want to read. That way we could add all the tips for "dispel magic (buffs)", "spellsteal", "mass dispel/shattering throw" (all along with dispel enrage effects). About "dispel magic (debuff)", "dispel curse", "cure poison" and "cure diseases", I'm just not sure. That could be a bit obvious. What do you think? Should we add them? Maybe just add them and only talk about the important ones?
I, myself, love to-the-point guides. However yours is kind of more userfriendly, so i'll have to adjust myself for that.
About my userfriendly guide: I just designed it like I thought it could look original. We could try to mix my "style" with yours and see what happens. =P
First thing to do is make a list of all dispelling spells, talk about their mechanics and work them in a small beta lay-out. After that we'll fill it step by step up, we can even take different sections each to boost up creativity.
That sounds about right! So, we will have to decide now: Do we include the healing dispels? D: If you are just 60% sure that we should include them, then let's go for it.
Also Cap, will you write a guide on your own? I mean, I really don't want to steal your time, bro. If you do and you want to help anyway, then you are ultra-awesome-super-cool.

Aight, i was asking to be sure.
Wasnt fond of the idea myself, since it would have to contain 3 expansions of dispellable boss enrages. (urgh)

My first idea was to first explain every magic effect (so enrage, poison, disease, etc) and then just split it up per class (spells/talent) and rounding it up at the end with something of extra (addons?).
This way you'll be pasting the same thing a few times (per class), but i see this as a plus point because people of their respective class can drop down to their section and have all the info there (instead of skimming through for certain spells).
So, we will have to decide now: Do we include the healing dispels? D: If you are just 60% sure that we should include them, then let's go for it.
If i open such a guide, i would expect it.
Though it'll be a drag to start off with it (since healer pov in arenas is my weakest point), but rewarding to finish.

Ill do whatever you want, just give me an idea of what and how.

My thoughts exactly. It's out of question. No PvE.

Ok, good. We start explaining briefly every dispellable buff/debuff. But then if we split it up per class, we would have to give the same information repeatedly. That woud look vague, in my opinion. I say we clarify in the beginning of the guide which classes need to see which part of the guide. Then we put all the classes that can dispel magic effects and explain the pros and contras of dispelling all the magic effects. Then we take all the classes that can dispel curses and talk about curses, and so on.
If i open such a guide, i would expect it.

Yeah, it's nothing to worry about, we will have to read some talents and spells. Then we get our knowledge together in a crazy way, and we are ready to go. Or we could also ask extermianner, who played a holy paladin.
Ill do whatever you want, just give me an idea of what and how.
Aren't you going to write the guide about your sticky thread? And if you say it like that, it sounds like you would become my slave, mwahaha. Do you have skype or MSN?

But that way it would be easy for players to find info on their class and ease up the formatting

Lolidin?

Yeah, but it can wait. People will survive a week without it and also dont feel like reworking it (cant of lazy of reworking the same thing over and over again).
Also i'd like to give it time, because ive always wanted to be able to add pictures (might even have to activate my account for a few specific ones) and need to think through the layout (either keep it this way or completely change it for tabs orso).
Might even include combat in it for bg purposes.
And if you say it like that, it sounds like you would become my slave, mwahaha.
You know i can drop out at anytime, right? :D
Do you have skype or MSN?
I have a long lost skype account, but i do have msn!

By the way, extermianner. I can help you with the formatting of any of your guides. I'm not a genius, but I learned some stuff. Just saying, since somehow your guide hasn't been approved yet.
Don't worry I'm doin' fine, just can't write it right now as my internet has been messy lately. And yes I play Lolidin.

And if you lack of BBCodes knowledge, this will be a great start while you wait to begin your guide. Either way, any help you need on your guide, I will be at your disposal too (I don't think I know anything you don't though), but I'll be there for whatever.
Lolidin?
Hahaha XD. Yeah, we should just...trust us.
You know i can drop out at anytime, right? :D
Of course! You can quit whenever you feel like. The exaggeration on the special thanks on the guide towards you will vary depending on the help you provided though. =P
I have a long lost skype account, but i do have msn!
My msn: tarta_el_pibe@hotmail.com
Now that I remember, you are using your Iphone and on vacations. Does it mean that you won't be online often?
And yes I play Lolidin.
Cool, are you willing to help the greatest guide ever?

I always lose at those kind of strategic games, and I had age of empires, and starcrafts, lord of the rings: the battle for the middle-earth II, and age of mythology, and I liked to play them. But I just suck...The computer always attacks me first with a huge army and I'm still building farms, the #$%^! >_< And against other players, I don't know. I think they always cheat somehow.

Let me disappoint you - they don't.
starcraft
Anytime I watch a WCG withc SC broodwar, I always see these guys: Jaedong, Bisu and other Korean folks. The
way they play
Is just marvellous, and makes me think "Man, I am really a nooooooob"(Though I've played for 6 years)
lord of the rings: the battle for the middle-earth II
I liked Campaign, but multiplayer is just imbalanced...

Ive played those, including warhammer and a few command & conquers.
Always cheated on age of empire games.
Was mostly really good at wc3: roc, command and conquers & starcraft.
