I've been messing around on the PTRs and Ret feels more fun for sure. SoCorr feels less bursty, but much more powerful than SoB was, and I'm SO EXCITED that I won't lose HP every time I judge now! Seal of Corr also increses damage as the debuff does, so thats one more thing to pay notice to. Crusader Strike demands a lot more attention due to it's super low 4s CD, and Exorcism requires more alertness due to the fact that it's only useful when AoW is up.
All in all, they did a great job makng the spec feel more dynamic and involving. It feels like playing is less of a faceroll and more like a skill now. Though the burst capability of the spec is all but dead, the constant stream of DPS and increased survivability is very welcome!
I give it 4/5 :)

Positive reviews are always nice :D
Personally I'm afraid that the changes in exorcism/art of war won't be enough to be interesting, but I'll hold of any judgment until I can actually test it myself.
Wondering a little what you meant by increased survivability though. Are there changes I have missed? Or were you just referring to the lack of backlash damage from SoB?
That's what I was talking about. It doesn't make much of a difference if you used SoC for PvP. But if you were one of those crazies (like me) who used SoB for PvP and PvE, then the extra HP makes a world of difference. It also means not having to FoL so much in survivability fights like Loatheb, Deconstructor or Vezax.

Pretty sure that in 3.1, you'd be crazy NOT to use SoB. XD
My problem is that...well...it gets quite boring. Same old abilities/attacks, only waiting for cooldowns to end, then pressing the same buttons once more.
Try playing an Elemental Shaman. :P My wife's toon is a Dranei Shammy, and is mind-numbingly boring to play as an Ele DPS. They play the exact same way as a Ret Pally using the
"
rotation
"
of FCFS with a set of prioritized abilities.
However, like you mentioned, it changes quite a bit in a clinch situation, where your heals and other utilities can make the difference between a wipe and looting the purpz. I was so proud of her when she busted out her Earth Elemental to pick up a boss when both tanks went down, and we were able to finish off the boss in the few seconds the Elemental lasted. Paladins have a lot of these "Oh @#%#" abilities that can make or break a raid.
From my time on the PTR, Rets are still pretty simple and mind-numbing to play, despite the Exorcism on AoW procs. It still feels the same -- just mash buttons until you succeed.

See, this is what I don't get with the new Exo changes. They want Ret to think more and "push more buttons" but with 30%+ crit on your average T8.5 Ret Paladin, melee + DS + CS + Judgements = 100% uptime on AoW. As long as you don't start a pull with Exo, you will always be able to get an instacast Exo. You never will have to worry if you have AoW procced, it will
always
be procced.
Exactly. The only difference I see is basically you'll have to glance to see if Exorcism is off cooldown -- if not, use your FoL. If Exo is up, extra DPS.

Overall I think its a positive change but doesnt really FEEL much different as you will ALWAYS have instant cast exo ready after 15 seconds of dps ... ie we crit so much it doesnt matter.
On a boss that doesn't move so you are free to attack, you can assume AoW is always up. However, if you end up running from fire or something, you could be missing the buff.

so if our aow proc is up and exor is on cd...its pretty much a wasted proc assuming u dont wanna use FoL

It will up our raid boss dps... jury is still out by how much. Im guessing ~800 from skilled rets.
But yeah it feels the same just a little bit more active.
and by more active you mean taking note of our AoW proc is up and wether Exo is off cd?

Last time I checked, only melee crits will activate AoW in 3.2 unless they changed the patch notes again.
