Frozen Core now also causes your Ice Lance criticals to reduce the cast time of your next Frostbolt or Frostfire Bolt by 0.4/0.7/1 sec.
Funny thing is, it procs from Ice Lance criticals, you don't need to have the target frozen. That's quite an advantage (in PvP), I'd say. Also, there doesn't seem to be a time limit to the bonus, so it may just stick indefinitely until your next Frostbolt cast.
What stinks is that most of us are stacking haste, and have very very low crit rates =(

Interesting thing about this is for those who were playing FrostFire, the gear sets can actually be modified very easily to be a Frost set simply by dropping some hit to be in line with Frost. The crit and haste should be approx on par with what would be acceptable if not ideal for Frost. It's been a while since I played frost though... Is the hit rating still lower?

there are still fire mages?
BiS T9 gear simulation says there's ~500 DPS difference between Frostfire builds and arcane builds. You really think that's enough to kill fire mages?
