Real life Dailies

I invite you to comment on dailies that you do in real life. The more unusual or interesting the better I would say. Unfortunately, I fall short on both unusual and interesting for mine:
Taking my dogs (2 labradors) for a run and then a swim in the pool after work every evening (Wednesdays and Saturdays it is a swim only). I really enjoy it though and it keeps me fit and encourages me to keep my swimming pool clean.
Driving to work. Really not enjoying it recently due to strange increase in traffic congestion recently. I suspect someone chop has altered a few of the traffic light timers during peak travel time. Luckily I travel to work and back with my gf most days which means we can chat and stop off for espresso/hot chocolate on the way to work.
Your turn.
Apologies if this has been done before, but I did not find another post like it.

First Daily Quest is getting out of bed at a reasonable hour. I always fail this one and get up at about 10am, which means almost half of the day is gone. If anyone has any hacks, hints, tips, cheats or guides on how to best this particular Quest, don't tell me - I'll be sleeping.
Second Quest is always for a cup of the magical elixir of life (coffee), and I have this one down pat. Short and easy, and I gain some more blood pressure and heartrate points to spend on a slightly earlier demise.
After that I can make two choices:
Breakfast?
or
No Breakfast?
The aim of
Breakfast?
is to eat something healthy just after getting up. I usually fail this one by eating buttery toast, or opt to take
No Breakfast?
which involves not eating anything until probably 3pm. That is quite easily accomplished and the reward is that odd sensation of your stomach starting to digest itself, and that strong coffee slowly burning through your stomach lining with no good solid food matter to stop it.
Following from there, it's
Play WoW
or
Do Anything Else
. Nine times out of ten I will pick
Play WoW
as it's a very easy and enjoyable Quest. One time out of ten I will go the other way, mostly if I have work the next day and need to get ready, or if the dishes by the sink have actually started to mutate into a lifeform of their own.
Finally, there is the Quest
Go To Bed
. I tend to leave this until the last possible moment, when I'm so tired I can barely see, and inevitably stub my toe stumbling from the lightswitch to my pit, via a darkened trap laden room. Somehow though, I always make it, albeit slightly injured.

Well, I'm currently working on raising my rep with the Wife faction. Trash, helping with the kids, and doing the dishes after dinner are my dailies.

Your day sounds exactly like mine except, change 10am to 5am because my lil bro wakes me up before the punk goes to the hellhole that is highschool. (While I homeschool because I fail at doind HW from school.)

Why do you people compare Wow to 'the real life'. Seems unlogic whenever I see these threads pop up, always something of WoW compared to some you do on a normal day. Don't take it offensive, but it does show a little addiction, doesn't it?
shush. i am still laughing at dishes mutating into a new life form. ;D

My "dailies" generally involve typical Mom stuff. Food/dishes, clothing, schoolwork...
Laundry, laundry, laundry, the neverending task:
Take this pile of stinking cloth, use detergent, water, and your skill to turn them into nice clean outfits for your family.
Lazy peons:
Ask your kids to do their chores and schoolwork. They generally won't get done. At this point, you must command that they be done, and threaten dire consequences (I will delete your newest piece of gear/you will not play wow for a week, you will owe your father 100 gold for each chore you didn't do...) and check 5 times until the chore is complete. Yes, it would be faster to just do it yourself, but the goal is that someday the kids will move out and be able to wash dishes, fold laundry, vacuum, and generally fend for themselves.
(And no, I don't call my dear children Lazy Peons, I just sometimes have fantasies that a booterang would make my job easier...)
Sound body, sound mind:
Get your whole family out of the house for some much-needed fresh air and exercise. The difficulty level of this quest is increased the colder the weather gets.
As for why people make threads like this, because it's fun.
Daily life can be boring, exhausting, stressful, and finding creative ways to spice it up (calling your jobs "Doing my dailies" or joking that your ___skill has increased by one skill point) keeps things interesting.

Try to cut down on your caffein consumption
0/1 - Have a cup of coffee when you wake up.
0/1 - Have a cop of coffee with your breakfast.
0/1 - Have a cup of coffee on your way to work. You know, the kind you usually get with the donut, but dont buy the donut, just have a cup of coffee.
0/1 - When you get to work, have a cup of coffee.
0/1 - Get another cup of coffee because the previous one usually goes cold.
0/1 - It's lunch. Have an espresso.
Rewards:
Diet Cola
OR
Diet Cola
. (the first one is for casters and the other one for melee)

Kitty, do you actualy threaten your kids like that? If so that is AWESOME!
Yes, those are actual consequences we have used/threatened. WoW can be a great motivator when used with common sense in moderation.
