I have to say, that was just plain yucky. I don't like it at all. It takes eccentricity and takes it to the extreme. 2/10 for not being country or world music.

I like the overlapping vocals, I don't like the lyrics however.

you think Lamb of God's drummer is as good as people tend to think he is? please, listen to, say, Meshuggah's drummer, Dream Theater's drummer, and Behemoth's drummer they all play
way
better than LoG's does, yet people say he (and slipknot's drummer) are 'omgwtfamazing' even though they, while above average, are definitely overrated (especially slipknot, because they actually have
three
drummers, not one.
Yes, I agree with you that Joey Jordison isn't all he's cracked up to be.
Yes, I most definitely agree with you about Mike Portnoy, he is unbelievable.
Can't comment on Behemoth or Meshuggah, although the latter are playing a local festival in February so I'll get back to you.
However, I will not let my opinion of one drummer (or guitarists or whatever else for that matter) be tainted by my opinion of another drummer. For one, by comparing Dream Theater to LoG you are comparing Prog with Thrash Metal, which shouldn't be done anyway. The benchmark in thrash is Dave Lombardo. Adler can easily hang with him on a good day, sometimes he can better him.
My personal faves though are Mike Portnoy and Brann Dailor (Mastodon)

Funky and fun, but hardly as long-term listenable as Pink Floyd.

I listened to a few of their songs, and I didn't really enjoy it all that much.
5/10
The Shuffletones, Ronnie Shellist and Jeremy Vasquez.
It's an acoustic version of the song, without the drum and bassline, but it's still very good in my opinion.
