If you tell me some of this "real rap" I would be open minded to listen. However, I doubt it is THAT boundary breaking tbh, except for the odd swear word.
I already named some in a previous post. Public Enemy, Cypress Hill(oldest work), Body Count (newer, but IMO the best rap ever made). Also interesting (the music isn't very good but the lyrics are) is Immortal Technique
