I don't get it. You think it's silly that people roll druids because they're too op in pvp? Did I miss something somewhere along the road? Or is it just because you played it ... longer? So, since I 60'ed my rogue before patch whatever way back when I should look down on rogues that started later?
Phiew, that'd be a lot of looking down, what with all the BE rogues around nowadays. How about my priest? Just because I played him shadow early on, should I now look down on shadowpriests just because it's all of a sudden a viable class?
You puzzle me.

Ok, if I tell you that I rolled a druid during patch 1.3-5 somewhere, levelled up to 45 and left her there untill just a few months ago, how does that make you feel about me?
And you seriously think that druids are the ONLY class that have had issues and have gotten a bit of a vamping now?
And you don't think it applies to the shadowpriest class either?
I'm not trying to be offensive or anything, just trying to figure you out.

Nah, a fair number of the new druids are pretty good. I've played my druid since release, and I can attest to the drastic changes that have been made. The druid class is nothing like what it was at release. But the druids aren't the only class like this. While I don't see what you mean about shadow priests bwirum (I leveled a SPriest then too, and it was EXTREMELY easy comparatively), warlocks were actually just as bad as druids way back when.
Ah yes, *levelled* as a shadow priest. Big difference to sticking to it at 60. Given, I eventually caved in as well, as my guild was way low on healers :-(. I do like to think that having played a shadowpriest at different levels of progression of the class/build has given me valuable experience in the field, I don't, however, look down on the shadowpriests that didn't do that. Huge difference.
I know what you mean about locks though. Hmm... then again, I have the same issue with hunters. I think it's something about pet classes that just don't click for me.

It's true that druids were a lot different in the beginning, i was never asked to tank as a bear in instances, in fact if you wanted to go to brd for example, you had to be resto. Other specs were really rarely accepted to groups. Still, I don't keep "new" druids in somehow lower value, it's all down to the person playing the druid. Some people are great, some are nice and the rest you add to your ignore list :) But this has nothing to do with the class itself.
Sure, druids are a lot easier to level up now compared to what they were in the past. So what? I'm still happy with my druid even if it did take me a loong time to reach 60 back then. It felt somehow unique and i didn't want to drop it and go for some other class.
