Dwarves & Night Elves can be warriors also. Please see this link -
Starting Attributes
for warriors. A few prominent racial traits are listed below (there are some not listed). Also note that there is no
best
race; you have advantages accessible to every race, depending on your aspirations these may or may not always be helpful.
Humans get weapon bonuses along with reputation increases. They get an ability to help detect stealth also.
Dwarves also have weapon bonuses and an ability that increases armor while removing poisonous effects.
Draenei gain increased chance to hit and a healing spell. They are also excellent Jewelcrafters.
Night elves gain increased dodge and an ability that allows them to stealth temporarily (unable to move in stealth).
Gnomes have increased intellect, engineering skill and an ability that allows them to escape from immobilizing or slowing effects.

I won't repeat what the others said so here's my two cents...
However you will find that there's always some one trying to stop you from gettin your charge off. It's hard to close the distance some times and this makes Night Elf a good choice. Their camouflage often allows you to be in the perfect range to start a charge when their back is turned to you. Just think about Arathi Basin, Alterac Valley, or Warsong Gulch and all the great places to "hide in the open".
Humans are good for raw passive abilities. But perception is over kill for a class that already dominates rogues.
Dwarves also get a nice bonus to their frost resist. While it won't mitigate much damage it does make a nice case for simply "stopping" a frost nova or frost shock out right. Every little bit counts when it comes to crowd control.

Draenei.
I'd love to have a free +1% hit (in aura form, no less), and the HoT seems like it'd make alot of things normally difficult for a warrior to solo / survive while leveling easy.
So very true.
I consider the dodge on Night Elf a "freebie" but really negligible. It's just easier to level on PVP servers when you can "hide" right in the open, it works.

dwarf, NE, human, draenai, then gnome.
That is how I would put them for PvE.
Tauren, Orc, UD for Horde.

Undead are probably the best for Horde pvp...having a way to break fear, etc. regardless of what stance you're in is very potent.
For alliance, Gnomes are the best pvp race for warriors.
