OH NOES THEY TOOK AWAY SOB/M! NOW HOW CAN I CAUSE DAMAGE? QQ
Seriously, if you read everything that's been posted, you'd understand that this is FAR from a nerf. It's a CHANGE.
Of course, if you don't like change, feel free to GTFO. The rest of us will enjoy the benefits of no longer rolling our faces across our keyboards.

How will ret pvp be dead if we can now cast exo on players? This will be a total complete pwange going well with new seal of command.
1.5 Second cast means we can now be interrupted aswell as silenced - Sure it can proc to make it instant.. which then removes our FoL Instant Proc

Basically, they may be more viable for PvE, but you can't burst a rogue down now, and prot is the new PvP spec.
At least that's what I'm reading...... The ONLY way this is viable is if they make SoV undispellable thru talents. Otherwise, it's SoCasino, that's been redesigned to be SoRookie with a little more damage and horrible judgement damage. But I'm looking at Prot being the new PvP spec for paladins(especially since they are buffing SoV and prot is already pretty dangerous in PvP) after reading that post.

Nifty link for the "pants on head"s, You know you you are.

Ever since blizzard idiot proofed paladins, EVERY patch was viewed as a nerf. Even 3.1 when ret got some buffs, it was still viewed as a ret nerf patch by a lot of people.
Basically everyone who complains about ret CHANGES (not nerfs) are saying "Damn, blizzard made this retard proof so I could play. Now they are changing it so it is still good, but not retard proof. I guess I have to pick another class..." Basically the origional poster said "I'm retarded and have no clue how to play the class and I am clueless about the mechanics. I just mash buttons and win. I guess I can't do that anymore."

remember taking away seals, changing AoW, lower crusader strike damage, changing exo and delay which just means more buttons makes retadin much more complex / deeper and is no nerf whatsoever.
retard proofing a class by lowering it's overall damage on a very shallow DPS class is just funny(facerolling sometimes is not by choice, it's simply fcfs because nothing is situational).

it still does less, you can do it more often.... but if there is a set mitigation on bosses it will do less then ( no clue if there is).

There are 2 possibilities that come to mind when I read this post. First, the poster has yet to get a paladin to 80 and play any sort of arena with him. Second, if he does somehow have an 80 pally, he has no idea how to play him. Whats up mr. 400 arena rating.
What I get from the patch notes is, OK im gonna have to respec to actually put that one talent point into SoC. Second thing is, wow that completely worthless libram you can currently get with emblems of heroism might actually become useful after this patch. I also will admit that in arena, I rarely use my instant FoL when it procs, and will happily keep a closer watch for my AOW proc's, which will give me instant Exorcisms. I mean 2's is about burst damage and in 3's & 5's you have a healer. This will literally mean us pallys can drop an opponent with 8-10K hp left with just ranged attacks. A procced instant Exorcism followed by a HoW equals even more QQ'ing by other classes how OP pallys are.
Lastly, with the SoC changes coming, this will make it the seal to use for ret pallys. It adds extra damage not on the actual judgement, but with each weapon swing. This will now mean people will now be using the fastest 2H weapons they can get. Overall, yes this new patch will bring changes with it, but I am pretty sure they will be good changes. Yes you may have to experiment and take a bit of time to learn the new way to play your class, but once you do its gonna kick alot of ass.

QFT.
I can't wait to re-learn parts of one of my favorite classes, and for things to be both new and experimental. No more "SOB/M is better than SoC, PERIOD." None of us really know whether SoC/V will be better than SoC, or vice versa. We can guess and look at some of the given numbers, but really, we'll have to play and experiment a lot, which is something that us Paladins haven't had to do recently.
Sure, on paper, we may want a faster weapon to get more SoC procs. But will it scale to weapon damage? If so, will a slower weapon get bigger damage? This is what I mean. We'll actually have to go and try new things -- stacking ridiculous haste to see if that works, or seeing how long it takes to get a full stack of SoV on a target, and if it'd be worth it in PvP, etc. etc.

Crusader strike does more damage with the patch.
In 12 seconds you do 2 3.1 Crusader strikes.
In 12 seconds you do 3 3.2 Crusader strikes.
110%*2 = 220%
75%*3 = 225%,
Win
You use more GCDs though
