This is what I've posted recently on my guild's forums
"Bumpity bump.
Now that we can forget about ToGC25, let's talk T10.
Mutilate
If you were insightful, you would've gotten yourself a pair of daggers for Muti. Glyphs for
51/18/2
would be HfB, Mutilate, and ToTT. While in T7/8/9 ToTT was a useful tool, now it's a must-have ability since in terms of DPS using it gives a boost not only to a buddy, but to yourself as well, now that it gives you energy on cast once you have 2pcT10.
Combat
Now that Deadly Poison procs the other hand's poison when stacked at 5, Wound/Wound set-up and its extra benefit from haste is out of the question. With the buff to Improved Poisons talent and increase in overall poison damage, Relentless Strikes can now be skipped completely.
With my gear,
15/51/5
(WD/DP) <
18/51/2
WP/WP <
20/51/0
(IP/DP) <
20/51/0
(IP/DP) .
About the 1 point in Vile Poisons? Meh, I don't know how to explain it other than just stating that maths is maths. It's just
that
way.
Now that we might be forced to have a Muti and a Combat spec for raids, consider the following:
Needle-Encrusted Scorpion
, drop from Forge of Souls heroic, last boss.
Here
is its overview.
Have a look at the soft cap when combining the two trinkets. If we gem our gear fully AP and get rid of passive ArP on gear, we can use that gear both for Mutilate and Combat PvE, and all it would take is either GT or MR and this new trinket. And two trinkets of choice for Mutilate (double Death's Verdict, Death's Verdict + Greatness deck, Comet's Trail + Death's Verdict etc). When we're Combat, put the ArP proc trinkets on and get yourself to hardcap of ArP with simply two items. Great for versatility, plus you are likely to not have to regem!"

Hey Liquoid, I have a question. I've been reading everything that you and the others have posted about the new ruptureless spec for 3.3. Me and everyone else that plays wow will probably be farming heroics now to get triumphs for t9 stuff, anyway what I wanted to ask is it merely better to wait to get t9 and then switch to the new spec or is it better to switch now? Thanks in advanced,
Like I said I've been reading everything and I get somethings but not everything, like why gem haste and ap now? wouldnt haste and agi be more beneficial?
Thank you Liquoid for taking the time to anwser any of these questions

Rupture has always been bad for Heroics.

That's another way of saying, "I have nothing to say, but want my name on the same page as yours"

I myself like to have a Raiding spec and a PvP spec for Battlegrounds and random Durotar duelings. And so I have to choose ONE PvE spec, and that is Combat because I enjoy it more. Would replacing all my ArP gear with Haste/AP gear harm my DPS? More haste = more combat potency right? And more AP = more sustained DPS because everything benefits from it. I refuse to go Mutilate because the Swords/Axes look too damn cool. (Yesterday even though it wasn't an upgrade, I came across a sword in 5Man Reg ICC dungeon that was 1H but bigger than alot of 2Hers.) And that is awesome ;)
The idea for Combat is to either have the ArP hardcap, the ArP softcap (if you have an ArP proc trinket), or not go for ArP at all. Choose one of the three.

I choose to not GEM or strictly limit myself to ArP. But if say, I get a piece of Tier10 that has ArP, I would not object it. But I rather have stats that benefit everything rather than benefit certain items. So if i were to choose over 100AP and 30ArP rating, or 100ArP rating, and 30AP, I would choose the first one.
Don't go by the magic rules, just use EP weights

ok, another thing to add. If you are combat and are currently going for soft-cap with MR or GT, AND if your other trinket is crappy (e.g. greatness deck, i've been wearing it for 11 months), DO get Needle-Encrusted Scorpion.
Gem for the soft-cap as if you only had Needle-Encrusted Scorpion, and re-equip one of your ArP trinkets 15 seconds before each pull, triggering its internal CD. This way your ArP trinkets will never proc simultaneously and you'll never be overcapped for ArP during a proc of either. It's win.
