There's no point in making a public spectacle of your gquit. Have a private conversation with your leaders and those you want to remain in contact with. And then just leave. This is a game, and we're in it to have fun. Drama isn't fun, no matter how good it feels to you to get things off your chest. If you were planning to stay in the guild, it's okay to raise a ruckus, but since you're just leaving your exit is sufficient statement in itself.

Sounds like you didn't share you reasons for leaving with the GM before you left. Sharing your concerns with the GM and the higher ups goes a long way to avoiding the drama that oft comes with leaving abruptly.
We've had do both in our guild, some of them founding members. Definately sharing with the GM & other prior to departure makes things go much much smother.
Side note, watch out for DG Plants. Disgruntled Goats from other guilds can cause major havoc with your guild. We had a couple players bring over a few from another guild they "didn't like". Sure enough, after about 2 months they "didn't like" our guild either yet they had convinced other good players to leave with them. Same abrupt departure, same disgruntled goats.
In short, be up front and honest with players. If they bad mouth you, so what, its only a game anyway. Be comfortable with your decision and go forward.

It's probably not a good idea to take a stab at anyone when you're making a public guild message. Just say you're leaving, wish them luck, and move along. It's pretty futile to try and bring anyone down, since, if they're smart enough, people will recognize that themselves.
If your GM or some officer has a problem with your post, then that's their problem. Move along; there are other guilds out there.
