Looking for the best dmg with suvivaility chances build for BG PVP, I know it's a matter of preference but would appreciate your input. I'm currenlty pretty bad geared and am working on getting the PVP gears. Got the nice crossbow but it's 3.10 seconds slow and if someone is close I don't have time to shoot if my traps are on cooldown.
Thought about getting Intimidating + Conclusive Shot.
Ah anyway pls help with the best BG build! Thanks!

Most people will tell you BM41/20MM or MM/SV but i prefer Surv build far over any of them. BM (imo) is boring and doesn't take much to win. But just try them all out really, and what works for you works for you.
Intimidating and conclusive are great and i do miss it with my current spec. They are great for PvP.
I use this for everything

Get a lv.70 trinket and you shouldn't be having any problems for the most part.

Thanks for the reply. It seems like a lot of PVP specs looks similar to yours. Does one loose a lot of ranged dmg by skipping the bottom half of MM? And yes BM is a bit boring and your pet still only from what I've seen only come up to half my dmg, even a high DPS pet.

I've never personally been a MM hunter and to tell you the truth never was interested enough to even bother with it. I went 1-66 as a BM hunter got bored and switched to Surv and loved it ever since. I have however heard from some good friends of mine that are MM, that it is the only way to go. While some people say MM dead. Everyone has their own opinions.
Missing the second part of MM make you lose DPS? Doubt it because if your BM you've got insane Ranged attack speed and a never ending onslaught from pet so you make it up. Surv you got so much AGI (At70 you shoot for 600AGI and beyond more the better) and with all that AGI you get a pretty nice crit rating so you are making numbers through crits. Also with Surv (if your not stuck CCing you can use your traps to even further your DPS.) Its all a matter of how you play and remember to put every tool you have to work.
Ups of BM: Pet is on mad crack(high dps from it) very quick auto shoot, feroious inspiration (great for all things healing/caster/melee) Beast within/wrath (pretty much more dps and a free trinket) and intimidating (also PvP tool)
Downs of Bm: Pet gone there goes half of damage, target isn't dead by beast wrath/within going to get a bit rough (what i've noticed)
Ups of Surv: Better traps (last longer lower delay) ToTH (more mana return on crit.) Wyvern sting (a way to get away) deterrence (good for trying to get away somewhat) Expose Weakness (also ability increase attacks on them) Surefoot (help with hit rating always nice) A big crit%.
Downs of Surv: No built in trinket (beast wrath/within) lose pet dps really, alittle bit more trickier to pvp in, gear dependent and PvP really wasn't made for Surv hunters.
Alls i know for MM is that silence shot is awesome for PvP silence shot is a very nice attack. Screw up casters/pallies with it and can cost them a death/win.
For Dps charts i just add my pet damage and mine together and i don't feel so bad. Well i did when i was a BM. Surv is a bit different.
Note: Surv isn't for everyone. Took me a bit to figure out how to PvP without my Beast wrath/within. Also i've notice once my instance groups find out i'm a surv spec, I'm CCing far more than DPSing. But not a big thing if you aren't worried about instances/raids. This is all from what i've noticed and people will say other wise. Like the saying goes (G version of it atleast) Opinions are like buttholes everyone has them.
Hope that helped.

ive heard people saying BM was boring for years now i never speccd BM cause i always thought that the hunter did crap damage and the pet did all the damage WRONG being able to still hit 3-4k crits as a BM hunter is nice all the while your pet is ripping somebodys face off i raid more than i PvP though i do PvP alot 41/20 is the best spec ive found(so far) to be able to throw up massive numbers in raids as well as PvP. but back to what i was saying people say that BM is boring how is hitting targets for 1100-2k a shot then having a pet hitting them for 200-400 a sec boring? ive seen my pet do better knock backs on spells than rogues before after frenzy procs i think he had a .6 attack speed then all the while im shooting them GL trying to get that pyro blast off mages
Yeah that's true, it's fun having a pet that tear ppl up in no time and with improved mend pet they have their own auto dispell on.
Previusly I had a 40/21/0 build to get Scattershot and it's fun to send your pet on someone and see them tear them up. But it also makes you rely a lot on your pet. I think my someonewhat crappy gear made it hard to survive why I respecked to MM and SV Hawks Eye and improved traps. Worked good as long as they were at range.
I ended up testing a almost 21/21/19? build and it improved my stamina a lot and also my survival. My pet does more dmg I do less, a lot less crit chance and less dmg/shot but with both Intimidating and conclusive + the 15% more stamina I seem to survive longer. But once I get my gear I'll probably respeck again.
