Prot War is strong vs melee, but loses to anyone that can heal.
I respectfully disagree with this statement. Druids and Shamans aren't too much trouble for prot warrs. I still have a difficult time with blood dks, all pallys, and priests (though being able to generate rage while they are bubbled helps tremendously.)
One of the main reasons I am able to do well against healing classes, or casters for that matter, is that they have to take the time to get out of melee range while they have cc'd me and this allows my charge to refresh and I get right back on them and interrupt their cast.
Why move? All healers have some form of damage return. Prot offers absolutely no pressure on a healer damage wise. Kiting is only needed when the guy humping your leg can potentially kill you.I can sit in treeform and pretty much just use 1 lifebloom and 1 rejuv to counter all your damage. You won't even get to revenge spam cause there will be no blocks, just a slow magical chippage. You must not play against people in pvp gear or something; rolling around in BG's as a prot and thinking its good is not helping you. Especially if you meet a tree...... We only use instant cast spells, so all your interrupts are useless. You will slowly chip yourself down with thorns with the occasional moonfire thrown in to speed the process.

Level 70 Prot Warrior with full BG Honor Point gear, and a couple of crafted/ bought items.
AV is all I do. I will one on one any level 70 Paladin I meet, and win 100% of the time, assuming we both start cold, with full HP and mana for the Pally, and no Rage for me.
Don't ask me to explain or justify, it's just a fact.
The only two classes that particularly bother me are Priests, because they can endlessly heal and SW:Pain you to death, and there are sadly not enough interrupts to keep them stunned or silenced, and good Twink Rogues who know what they are doing.
When I meet a Paladin, and they inevitably bubble (assuming I don't crit them to death before they even think about it), all I do is walk slowly backwards and keep hitting /lol. Then I charge them again, and the fight is over 5 - 8 hits later. Most of which they spent stunned and silenced anyway.
